History

Established in 1902.

Almost immediately after the first horseless carriages appeared on America's roads, motorists began organizing automobile clubs. In 1902, only 23,000 cars were in operation in the country compared with 17 million horses. Yet, 50 small motor clubs has been formed by motoring enthusiasts across the country. None of those clubs joined together to create a national motoring organization and on March 4, 1902, in Chicago, founded the American Automobile Association. More than 100 years have passed, but from its inception, AAA has dedicated itself to the future of transportation through support of safe, efficient highways and a multi-modal transportation system that is accessible and affordable to everyone.

Meet the Manager: Kristi B.

I have worked for AAA for 23 year as of this December. I started as an administrative assistant to the travel agents in our Lebanon branch for 3 years. Then became a travel agent and transfer to the then Lancaster County AAA and work there for 3 years. After the merger between AAA Lancaster County and AAA Central Penn, I transferred back to the Lebanon office as a travel agent for another 6 years. In 2009, I got promoted to the Assistant branch manager and remained in that role until 2018, when I took another promotion and transfer to the Lititz office as the Branch manager. I have enjoyed getting to know the Lititz community and participating in community events. I continue to have a love and passion for travel and am a Journey Manger that leads our members on some of our fantastic group trips. Some of my favorite places I enjoy visiting are Alaska, Portugal, Ireland, and I love cruising. I invite you to visit our Lititz location, where you will be greeted by our friendly staff!
