where do I start.... This establishment has a lot of neat elements, and a lot of potential , cool finds, and lots knick knacks. Now where it all goes down hill is the attitude and customer service. The owner Ron has no idea how to run a business in this decade. The place is very dirty, and unorganized, which is alright. I also don't care about political views, it all boils down to customer service. most of the things he sells will not work as he says, and he will not give you your money back. This guy makes up prices at the top his head for used , unreliable cameras that he can't really vouch for. There is a risk in buying a used camera but he will rip you off , and be extremely rude to you if you come back with any kind of complaint or dissatisfaction in the product he sold you. He talks like he's doing you a favor when he's doing bare minimum customer service. He was SO rude to me as a customer after I spent $300 at his store, for non functioning products. He refused to give me money back and I had to settle for a camera I didn't really want. He is just there to take your money and rip you off. Most of the equipment he sells is unreliable and not taken care of. Everything is neglected. Please if you're just starting film DO NOT COME HERE , DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. Stay away , go to some of the new nicer spots that take care of their products and will work with you as a customer. Example palm film lab , cardinal film lab, or bellows. This place has plenty of vintage cameras and is a godsend to the area. It's an antique camera store full of gems highly recommend the owner is hilarious, cool af & employing young black men so he is official in my book. He let me take my time trusted me with expensive equipment and didn't rush or bother me. The prices he gives are fair or a lil above market value but this is an independent owned camera shop owned by a fucking legend with decades of experience. Real photographers will LOVE this place. Def an experience togo there. read more

Do you know where to get a digital camera repaired without paying an arm and a leg to ship it back to the manufacture? I didn't so I put my fingers to the keyboard, searched the web, asked around and found AAA Fotofast. Practically hidden away in a small strip mall down south these men have been tinkering with cameras since before a lot of us could say cheese. Being the big time paparazzi that I am when my camera suddenly stopped working I nearly died, not really but yes it was serious. This two man show brought my pride and joy back to life in a quick and efficient manner. The store itself is a little run down and they have a big iguana sitting at the entrance I guess he's the guard dog, but once you get passed the aesthetics, or lack there of you can see these guys mean business. They'll help you and I'm sure if they can't they know someone who can. read more

Very expensive estimate $95.00 ! Then Ron (owner) calls you, and tells you "your camera needs other additional repairs" and price is raised! When you say no thanks to all. The camera is returned with another broken- not working- where it was when you took it in. Now my camera is NOT working AT ALL and I am out $95.00 ! What a terrible experience I had here and with the owner. I went in to have a memory disk recovered (after deleting some pictures) and also repair my Canon camera. I was going to leave both items - he was already preparing the paperwork. When he called one of his technicians, that's when I saw his true colors. He yelled at the person on the phone, complained to me about how no one speaks English anymore (welcome to Miami, buddy), before violently slamming the phone on the receiver like World War III had just erupted. And all of this in front of me, a potential client. Of course, I got my things and immediately left. I left not because I agree or disagree with his politics (he has a right to think how he likes), but because of his lack of self control and customer service. As agitated, trusted, or deeply vexed you might be, the client shouldn't have to see this childlike outburst of emotion. I will never be returning here, I'd rather pay more at another place then face this horrid exhibition of customer service. read more

So this place is the Real deal, I literally drive from miami to get my camera fixed and buy new film. In my opinion I feel like he takes the time to fully explain how a camera works and really genuinely wants to help you out. The pricing is affordable and there are also payment plans! I took my Nikon camera to see if it was worth repairing. After briefly explaining the issue, the owner knew exactly what the issue was, it needed to be cleaned. $50 and about an hour later I took my perfectly working camera home. Owner is very knowledgeable, and I found prices to be reasonable. Tons of vintage cameras and accessories. Go in with an open mind, owner turned out to be extremely helpful, generous, and knowledgeable. read more

I went to repair the focus on my 50mm lens and the shop owner told me it will cost $38 just to take a look and tell me whats wrong with it. A few days later I receive a call and the shop owner tells me the repairs are going to cost around $180. (brand new lens $250) He also told me that if I wanted to sell it, he will pay me $30 for it! I thanked him and told him not to fix it, and that I will pass by later to pick the lens. I travel out of the country the next day for 3 weeks and when I got back, I heard a voicemail, telling me to pick my lens up. I work in a hospital 20 miles away, I was super busy and couldn't pick it up on time. He then calls me again on a Monday and tells me if you don't come today, I am charging you $3 "storage fee" for every day you leave it here! (He NEVER mentioned that before) I couldn't get off early from working in the hospital until Friday, and I then find him billing me $12 ontop of the $38 just to store a non-functioning lens for 4 days. I tried to explain to him my work hours, but he wouldn't hear of it and tells me its written in my receipt! (he didn't even store it properly, with no protection to the lens at all) I know its my mistake for keeping it there for long. I just did not like his attitude and that I was ripped off for nothing. Scam! Got quoted 70$ to clean and lube an old camera, then get there and estimates double!!! I give in , takes two weeks and i pick it up and there is still dust and looks exactly like it did when i brought it in. Place is a scam and man is a thief and unorganized. STAY AWAY! read more
