Beware! I called them to repair a 4 yr old lift master garage door opener because it stated error code check sensors. Which I purchased thru them. When the technician came he said the unit was bad and needed to be replaced estimate $1100 for new unit. so I called ADCO for a 2nd opinion, they said my sensors were bad $95 bucks later sensors replaced works perfect. He says lift master almost never break and have a 5 yr warranty on motor. read more

warning - this company will waste your time, lie to you and if they do actually send someone to perform work at your house, will send an incompetent. I called them for serivce on January 6, 2025, and they sent a child out who asked me if I had the operating manual for my gate operator. When I told him I did not, he began to Google to try to learn about what he could possibly do about the problem I was having with the gate operator. I couldn't believe my eyes, so I told him I had no confidence in his competence and told him to forget the service call and asked him to leave. Fast forward to March 2025. Not realizing I was calling the same company, the woman who answered the phone set me up for an appointment for a couple of days later with a window between 2-4. When at 4:10 no one appeared, I called the company and they told me in their system it says the appointment was cancelled. I advised her I did not cancel the appointment and in fact had been sitting around waiting for 2 hours for their tech. She ultimately discovered that the person who entered the appoinment in the system did it wrong, and it cancelled automatically. She apologized and rescheduled me for today, a Saturday. When she booked the appointment, I immediately got a text to confirm - something that didn't happen when I booked the original appointment days earlier and is what allowed me to see that THEY were the company I had called in Jan - the old text was there. Had I known it was the same company, I would NOT have called them again. She assured me that it would not cost more for a Sat. appt. She further assured me they were sending their "best tech, John" - since I had explained to her the fiasco with the kid they sent out in Jan. She gave me a one hour window - between 9-10am. When at 9:45 no one appeared or called, I called the company. Of course an answering service took the call because it was Saturday, and asked for more information than you can imagine about me. 8 mins later, when the woman was still forwarding this plethora of info to someone else and the tech had still not arrived, we hung up that call. Three mins later I received a text with another story not based in fact - yes, another lie. It said "we tried reaching back yesterday to see the availability to reschedule I have a personal emergency and was hoping to reschedule for Monday." No one had called me to reschedule, or texted me to reschedule which had they done either, I would have appreciated it and rescheduled. Instead, they wasted more of my time, and lied to me to make it all worse. Had I not called them this morning, the arrival window would have come and gone with no one showing up. It seems the only thing this company is good at is plastering themselves all over the internet and social media - which is why I took the time to offer this review - no one should get jerked around or lied to. There a few times in life, and especially in Miami, when you are so surprised by honest and professional services. I was referred to the company by Genie customer service. The telephone representative gave me two service companies and authorized dealers in my area. One was closed on Saturdays and the other was AAA. They were able to squeeze me in on the same day. The technician arrived within 45 minutes of The estimated time he quoted me and advised that the time was approximate because he did not know how long the job before mine would take. I know even less about the garage door openers and springs than I do about automobile engines or transmissions and AC units or major appliances. Thus, like many, I am at the mercy of the honesty of the repair technician. The AAA technician shared with me that the company that had repaired the door previously had installed the wrong size springs. He let me know that likely mis sized springs would need to be replaced with proper sized springs, but he would give it a try to make the existing equipment work. To my surprise he was able to adjust the existing springs. I know it would be impossible to of had a less expensive repair done in such a timely manner by an honest and professional company. read more

On 07/24/2017, we placed an order for a garage door/installation from AAA Garage Doors Inc. and were given a price from the employee who had visited our home and done measurements. A few weeks later, we get a call and are told that they needed to re-measure our garage. Their employees come by and re-measure, and I must say I was not impressed by how unprofessional these men looked. No company t-shirt or anything, they came in a regular t-shirt, basketball shorts, and backward hats. Anyways, once they report back to their home office we get a call that the measurements were done wrong the first time and we need to pay more money, we refuse and tell them we won't pay more for a mistake on their end. They agree but say they will need to order a new door with the correct measurements. FINE. They say it will be a couple more weeks for it arrive and be installed. They call us and tell us the garage will be installed on Thursday, 09/07/17, now with Hurricane Irma approaching South Florida we figured they wouldn't come but we didn't receive a phone call and instead had to empty our garage and cover things as much as we could because we didn't have a garage door yet. After the hurricane passes we reach out and they give a new installation date, Friday, 09/15/17. I take the day off from work so I can be there when the workers arrive, surprise surprise we get a call at 10:30 AM that they're not coming. The garage door they ordered was incorrect and they needed to re-order. New installation date, today, 10/10/17, my boyfriend takes the morning off work and we were told they would be arriving at 9:30 AM, just got a call they are arriving "later today." At this point I'm convinced they either won't show up or we'll get a call that they ordered the wrong door again. Save yourself the trouble and don't order from this company, completely unprofessional, and borderline fraudulent as they had no problem taking $900 from us almost 3 months ago without providing any goods or services. If my garage door is not installed today I will be cancelling this order, and reporting them to the BBB. I'm surprised they have good reviews on here, must be from family and friends because this company is ridiculous. I'm a very reasonable person but this isn't how you do business. I rarely leave such a bad review but I would leave a 0 if I could, please please please save yourself the nightmare I've gone through and find another more reliable company. read more

I needed my garage door replaced the same day and after calling quite a few companies I went with AAA Garage Doors. Not only did they offer the best price but they came the same day to install the garage door and the motor. Even a service call a few days later (a contractor working at the house knocked one of the sensors of the rail) was answered immediately and they came to fix the sensor free of charge within an hour of the call. I hate reviews.. some of them are from actual family members or friends! I hate, hate this! I called this company after reading all the great reviews. Which I was not 100 % sure from the the first time. Made an apt for 4 pm, took time off from work to meet with the tech. At 4:22 pm I called the company, asking at what time they will be here, and I was reassured that they will be here at 5 pm, and if they would be delayed they call me back. It is now 6 pm, the office is closed, never received a phone call, and the tech is nowhere to be found. Lesson learned! I have years of experience in customer service. It gets me so upset that people tell you that they are coming in an hour and here come an hour and half later and nothing! You take off from work to wait, and nothing! Found this contractor on Best Picks and thought they would be great after reading their reviews but to my demise the MOST unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my life. I made 3 appointments that were confirmed and they never showed up. I gave one star because they did call and cancel the first appointment however I waited for 5 hours (2hr appointment window) for my second appointment. No show no call. Two days later they called apologized and rescheduled. Same thing happened on 3rd appointment, waited over 5hrs and again no show no call. While I do understand that things do happen I think if you are not going to make an appointment or not show up I believe it would be common professional courtesy to call your customer and notify them. Being a contractor myself I find this company's customer service and professionalism subpar at best. I would never recommend them. Good luck if you want to use them and God bless you if your experiences are any better, however in my line of work the way a company treats it customers is a reflection of how they do their work. read more

Garage door spring (right one) broke on Sunday night. Called AAA Garage door inc Monday morning 9:12 am and they had someone at my house by 11 am which was very fast. The guy found the issue and quoted me $650 to replace both Torsion springs and 12 roller wheels to help the door open and close easier. I found the quote VERY VERY expensive but accepted since car was inside the garage and my wife really needed it. They started at about 11:20 am and were done by 12:40 pm. The service was fast but I still found the price to be very expensive. So this past weekend I happened to be talking to my neighbor and tell him about what happened and he informs me same thing happened to him about 6 months ago and the company he hired went out there ant replaced both springs (no rollers since they said they were good) for $350 in also about an hours time. I'm just posting this to inform you of my experience and do try to call around different companies to find the best price since price seems to fluctuate heavily between companies. read more

Sunday morning i hit my garage door clicker and it only went up a few inches before door stops. to find out one of my torsion springs broke, i have never replaced a spring before so i get online a look at a couple of videos. I live in cutler bay so i find AAA garage door in the google search in my area, i walk in and speak to a young lady in the front, I explained my issue and she was Extremely helpful. she calls the owner Tony to come to the front to see me, he asked me if i needed one of his techs to replace the springs? I said no ill do it myself i just need the parts, Tony spent 20 mins with me explaining how to replace the springs correctly so I wouldn't get hurt, not only that he said if i didn't want to buy the winding bar tools from him I could go to home depot across the street and get a set of bars maybe a little bit cheaper. I went home and replaced both springs, i had to call him a few times to adjust a few things and he explained over the phone, garage door is working flawless now. what a hell of as nice guy extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Its hard to find friendly business owners in Miami now a days, everyone is a scammer and all they care about of making a dollar. next time a friend or family s a prob with their garage door this is the only place i will go to.
