Jennifer We hired her in Sept 2023 and by March of 2024 my family member's Medicaid was still not obtained. We only met her in person once and she continually either blamed the counties for being backlogged or the facility my family member was at. My family paid her a lot of money and yet she never got the job done. She also had us hire her movers, from Colorado Springs, despite the Denver area having MANY companies that wouldn't have charged for gas and mileage. We were all emotionally spent and that is why she was hired! She should have looked after them, not sending them to "her" people that she was friends with and getting a cut. Their charges were ridiculous. She threatened to turn me into Elder Abuse since I refused to have my family continue with her after getting nowhere. The facility that my family member is at took the case over for free and we have been working closely with them. They advised me to write to the State and turn her in, which I will do. We asked for a refund of the money and would have even paid her for her "few hours" she spent. However, she wouldn't do either. She clearly is abusing the elderly and taking money from them, promising a result that never happened. I am the Power of Attorney for my family member involved and that is why I am writing on behalf of them.
