However a blessing came to me recently because due to some kind of "changes" my insurance agent is now at another ALFA location so I don't have to deal with this ill-mannered woman anymore. How Kelly go to be an insurance agent is anyone's guess! My family couldn't safely stay in our home, and I had to pay to stay in an Airbnb while waiting for my claim to be handled. Instead of promptly helping during an emergency, I felt like I was met with delays, repeated requests for more documentation, and resistance to covering the damage. After 14 years of paying my premiums on time, I expected my insurance company to stand behind me when I needed them most. Insurance is supposed to provide peace of mind during unexpected disasters. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Based on how my claim was handled, I cannot recommend Farmers Insurance.
