Im May was contacted my "Mary" after Rafael Carrillo office was sued & closed. She use to be his…read moreparalegal there and she offered her services to me so I can finally submit my court paperwork that she had been working on since February. I should have took that as a red flag but I was in desperate need to get my paperwork filed. She said she was opening an office in town to "help" all of Rafael's clients paperwork finished since he was in the process of being disbarred. She said she was parting ways with his office. She promised to get everything done for me within that week and she would charge me $300. I was desperate so I paid. After I paid I stopped getting replies. I even looked up her office and walked in there to try to get an answer & in my surprise I ran into other people who were working at Carrillos office. I was told they'd give her my message and I never got a call back. I had to go to the court house multiple times myself to check if the forms were ever filed... after 2 months of going to check myself, the judge signed my custody forms. I had to pay $40 to get a copy myself when I had already paid Mary to file it. As for my other forms I paid for her to complete, they were done incorrectly and CS office did not accept them. I had to redo them and refile them myself. Even after I let her know they wouldn't accept them because she completed them wrong, she did not reply. If you're looking for someone reliable... I do NOT recommend this office. You'll end up more stressed and they will never reply once you pay them.
