They are Fort Lee's Exchange barber shop. I find that they have a large location with a lot of seats for the actual haircuts and a good amount of comfortable, well-placed seats for waiting as well. Prices are standard/good. Staff are always very friendly! They like to chat with you if you're up for it and are ok with letting you be if you're not in the mood. They also ask for details about the specifics of the cut you want if they come across a potential stylistic difference point, demonstrating a good level of care and attention. Great shop! read more

Barbers are all on strike and in return they screw up people's haircuts! Not only did they mess mine and a few people I knows hair, the lady cutting mine really started hurting me. They missed lots of hair which I had to get covered up because of how bad it was. Don't come here. If you're in training and have no choice, just cut it yourself. They were also very rude. If you're gonna go on strike at least do your job right because it looks bad on you. Why is someone gonna give an employee a raise if they can't even do their job right? read more

I have never been much of a fan of the PX barbershop. I got more horror stories then I care to recall but this is not the case here. This turns out to be the only place I get my haircut in the area. You can expect a good cut coming here they seem to really take pride in there work. I would recommend "sun k" "kim" or "Ray" but everyone here is good and very polite. I have seen them cut black, white, brown, red, yellow, and anywhere in between to include kids and special needs with positive results. If you are in the area don't let a previous bad experience from another location deter you from stopping in. JUST AVOID SUNDAYS AT ALL COST. (trainee mob). During the week it's in and out. read more

If you're in fleet don't come here. They will make you look like a boot real quick. I went to a female barber far left in the corner and i asked for a medium skin..... how i end up with a high and tight and at that uneven sides and on the back of my head it looks like i have a patch of hair. Literally looks like each side of my head was a different challenge for her. Left side is a high and tight... Right side is between a mid and high fade and the back side of my head she just said "F" it. Don't ask for anything off the top either cause all of them in there don't know how to properly use the clipper over comb technique. Best believe she didn't get no tip.... Outta go back to barber school and learn how to cut. Or get some extra lessons. read more

I was very specific in my directions. I wanted a neck trim and to thin out my sideburns. The first thing the barber did was take a zero directly to the side of my head. 15 agonizing minutes later, I received a very legtastic high and tight. I have been here 4 times. I believe everyone deserves a chance. So I've been to 4 different barbers. Every time I get a haircut from these "self taught" barbers it's the exact OPPOSITE of what I ask for. I always ask for a medium fade. One time I got a taper fade and this time I got a high fade. Both times I specifically asked for a medium fade. I feel like they don't listen to what you say and just cut your hair however they feel like cutting it. I heard him say, I'm trying this technique I saw on Facebook. Glad I could be your Guinea pig. Then they have the audacity to ask for a tip. By far the worst place to get a haircut. Took my son to get a haircut and waited for Greg, as one of the barbers that I usually let cut his hair. For some reason, he was skipping over my son, cutting people's heads that came in well after us, leaving before us. We waited an hour for him to actually get to my son. He didn't even acknowledge that we were there. It took me to have to say something to him and make my son get up and just get in the chair before he got to him. He then had the nerve to apologize to the customer that was waiting after my son, even though he came in well after we did. This is not the first time this has happened. We will no longer wait for "Greg". Will stick with our first choice. read more

Barber in the Small PX:::Went to get my haircut. Thanks for closing 10 minutes early. But, I have come many time before (convenient location) and it takes them roughly 15-20 minutes to cut hair (even if you ask just the sides) not because they are thorough professionals but rather, they are too occupied with loudly, obnoxiously, and seemingly uneducated-ly talking amongst each other, while walking away from you to make their "points" or checking their phones. Then they jacked up the price a few months ago to what? $12-$14 and have the nerve to ask for a tip after they waste your time. My advice: pay the extra couple bucks and go out in town to a real barber-better cut better experience! read more
