We were having trouble finding someone that would touch our project - or not charge an arm and leg for it. So I decided to broaden my search. A simple yelp search brought me to Andrew's. I called them up and asked to speak with someone that could quote my project. First thing the gentleman asked was, "Where are you located?" When I responded, he snapped, "Nope, too far away. Won't do it." After reassuring him, we were less than 20 miles from his place of business, and offering to drive to him myself, he replied, "Nope, that would be silly. We won't do it. There are plenty of sign shops in your area." So naturally I asked politely if he could recommend some. Instead of replying with something like, "Sorry, I am not familiar with any by name," he snapped again, "Nope! Not gonna bother." At this point I was pretty annoyed, so I sharply questioned, "So you are just going to turn down my business just like that?!" A simple, "Yup!" response and I hung up. I can barely handle people that are stupid, and can't interact at all with people who are stupid AND rude. I should have asked for a name, but I think it is safe to assume I was talking with Andrew. So, Andrew, when you read this: Congrats on your business model, I am sure it will take you places. Just and FYI for those who read this: I work as an Art Director, so I deal with a lot of people in the printing industry - I have dealt with your typical old school, battle hardened curmudgeons, but this guy top's my sh-t list.

I was "paid" in some really good food and a fun day. Everyone is friendly, not just to me, but also to the customers. The dog, Bear, is particularly nice. He's mellow and loves people who rub his belly. He only barks at some people as a joke, but that only happened once or twice in the years I've known him. They have excellent equipment and will solve all your printing needs. If you're not sure what you want, they can advise you on options and design personal work for you. Check them out if you ever need something done. Catch them on a day when they're cooking and you might get to sample, too.
