It serves as a pleasant alternative to a car trip around Funen. Food: Better than what could be expected from a ferry (but will probably not be why you are here anyway). They serve cafeteria food - hamburgers, sandwiches, soda - which is acceptable. There is also a restaurant (which I haven't tried) and a Baresso coffee shop onboard who serve the usual espresso, latte, cappuccino etc. The coffee shop is quite popular so there may be a line. You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks. Kids: Entertainment for kids onboard is limited to a small area with over-sized lego bricks. It doesn't really matter since the crossing time is so short - bring your own entertainment and go outside (to the stern) and watch the spray from the engines.

The hotel is right in the center of Aarhus, and you are in walking distance to the train station, shopping streets, restaurants, and bars. I'll go here again, if I need a bed for night in Aarhus. For a longer stay, I'll find a more interesting hotel. The staff was very service minded and polite.

The location can't be better it is 50m from the walking street. It is about 5 min walking from the train station and it has a parking lot just underneath so anyway you get there it is quite easy. The breakfast is included in the room rate and the buffet is amazing. The best part is the freshly made pastry. The rooms are spacious even though it is in the center. The bed is comfortable and the amenities very nice. The service is really good. My only complaint is the blinds they are not total they let some light come in. They have a nice business center and the place is quiet.

We sprung for a "large" room - there was barely enough room to turn around. The bathroom is ship like - tiny but functional. The pillows suck. The room was uncarpeted. There isn't a comfortable chair to sit in and there isn't any storage space save for a rod with four hangers. The extra bed was a flip out chair - the teenager thought it was the worst thing ever. And yet - it's cheap and centrally located and we had two terrific meals at different restaurants less than a block away. Parking was in the garage at the adjacent mall. Finding our way from the garage to the hotel lobby was not exactly intuitive. Paid 150DKK per night (about $23US).

Newly remodeled in 2014 the hotel is right now in tip top shape and very nicely designed. One big set back is that there is no restaurant in the hotel (but just next door) so no room service is offered. I do not mind venturing out but sometimes, especially traveling for work, it is nice to have the room service option. My room was really, really tiny but every square foot is used to its max. The bathroom is separated from the rest of the room with a thin glass sliding door. There is everything you need: comfy bed, hangers and hairdryer, small desk, pretty and comfortable leather chair, and TV. Hotel Ritz offers free wifi and parking a block away for 85 DEK / night.

Its right in the center of town across from the Cathedral. A short walk to the train station, tons of shopping and eating and right near the canal. There is quality inside and out, from the beautiful historic Elevator in the lobby to the mural covered walls depicting danish history to the finely appointed rooms and en-suite baths. I had a standard single which was one of their smaller rooms and it was fine. I never felt cramped. There's no noise issues. The included Breakfast offered an extensive selection of delicious food. I have stayed here twice (appox 20 days) and would definitely stay again.

How you take it is completely up to you, but at beginning I was a little creeped. Room is descent size, especially for building of this age. My room was a twin, bed was comfortable but only one small pillow. Work desk has pretty of space to sores laptop, note pad, etc. Shower and toilet are right next to beach other separated by very tiny glass wall, and almost impossible to keep shower water from spreading to the toilet area, not smart design. Room is covered with many painting, decoration, etc. a little overwhelming. Internet connection was superb. Make sure you obtain password at front. Breakfast was good, had patently of selection that you would expect from any hotel with. Choice of hot meal and cold. I think they are all home made...breads were really good. Fitness center was nicely equipped with cardio machine and pretty of free weights. The downside was I couldn't control room temp and was warm, had to open window all night. Parking is difficult (also the city was going through huge construction everywhere so I just couldn't get to hotel). Overall this is a very nice little hotel and would recommend.
