It was really easy as the bus schedule is set based on the arriving and departing flights. I was concerned that the bus that was recommend for my return flight arrived at the airport 35 minutes prior to my flight departing, however, it turned out there were only two flights leaving and since they are smaller planes, the security line is not overwhelming and you get the sense that they will make sure everyone gets through and can board the plane. There is a restaurant with a view of the runway and some shopping, but not a whole lot more.

This hotel is a very good value for Aarhus lodging. We sprung for a "large" room - there was barely enough room to turn around. The bathroom is ship like - tiny but functional. The pillows suck. The room was uncarpeted. There isn't a comfortable chair to sit in and there isn't any storage space save for a rod with four hangers. The extra bed was a flip out chair - the teenager thought it was the worst thing ever. And yet - it's cheap and centrally located and we had two terrific meals at different restaurants less than a block away. Parking was in the garage at the adjacent mall. Finding our way from the garage to the hotel lobby was not exactly intuitive. Paid 150DKK per night (about $23US).

In an age where camping has turned into glamping, we who ride need a place just for us motorcyclists. It's so enjoyable at MC Touring camp that you don't need to go anywhere else. It has a great area with many trees where you can pitch your tent anywhere. And don't forget your hammock! Or you can rent a cabin if you don't feel like pitching a tent. You will find power outlets everywhere, just remember the CEE to Schuko plug. (Camping power plug) They have a great local where you can buy both breakfast, dinner and reasonably priced beer! It's a gathering place for everyone, especially on days when it rains so hard that you need a dry, warm place to sit. In addition to buying dinner, there is a fully equipped kitchen with two cooking stations, pots and pans and two refrigerators to keep your food cold. There are modern toilets and shower facilities and there is no charge to shower. But I think the best part is the swimming pool. Here you can sit and sunbathe or cool off in a delicious swimming pool. And if you prefer beach life, Grenå beach is a 30-minute ride from the campsite. A beautiful, large beach with lovely fine sand. I had a great trip at MC Touring. Linda and Kent are wonderfully welcoming hosts who made sure everyone had a good time. On top of it all, the price is about half that of the usual family camping pitches. I can recommend MC Touring Camp as one of the best places to stop and enjoy yourself.
