Three years ago I went in to buy an auger-style snowblower and Niels talked me into buying the paddle-style with the option that if I didn't like it I could return it without issue and purchase the auger-style. Well this winter I finally had a chance to use it - I greatly enjoy my paddle-style snowblower. When I bought the snowblower I was to bring it back after its first five hours of use for an oil change (included in purchase cost), when I called this month to inquire about an oil change Niels still honoured that offer THREE years later! He will fit a pair of boots to your…read morefeet with many measurements, he can tell if your feet had a bad day yesterday by the swelling, he treats his customers like gold and will school them in how to put on, take off and care for their boots. He takes a good 45 minutes to measure your feet and find your boots. They aren't cheap- he points out the difference between good and poor quality in a boot, using an old boot! His selection is vast, if he can't find a pair on the main floor his basement is full. Large inventory. Best boot fitting you'll ever have- you won't get that at any other store, they won't take the time. His knowledge of the leather, the patterns, the stitching, the different hides, colors and textures rivals NONE. He knows a lot of people in town, has seen a lot of the good and basin others, and it shows. Great dry wit.

The quality of the products is excellent. The staff are great. They even go out of their way to help you find the best dollar value on your purchases. When we needed a new washing machine (which they don't carry) they put us in touch with the Picture Butte store which has everything and just as nice staff, we got our washer. If more stores could find staff like those at these two stores their businesses would really improve. We just wish they carried lumber at the Lethbridge store too.

This Costco is only an hour after crossing the border. At $114.9, their gasoline was still cheaper than the stuff I get in California assuming conversion calculator I used is correct. Bathrooms are cleaner than Walmart or Target. Walking inside and exploring is a great thing to do. They have all kinds of stuff including medications you can't get in the USA. They have sports sweatshirts of Canada's baseball team. If I wasn't a Dodger fan, I probably would've bought one. It is interesting to see how Costco's differ after a few hours of driving. Then there's food at the food court. No smoothies at this location. But, you can get chicken strips with French Fries, or Poutine. If that doesn't suit you, you could get a smoked meat sandwich! I thought their smoked meat sandwich was fantastic. Costco is definitely worthy as a pit stop. Note: This part of the world doesn't Yelp much, a lot more reviews can be found on Google.
