They were in the middle of their big Grand Opening and had free treats (can't beat that) but I think this is a nice, clean place to shop for funky vintage items and "real" antiques. It was already pretty full (including a large furniture selection to the right upon entering) but I got the vibe that they're still filling the store with vendors so it will probably be even better on my next visit.

There were a few great pieces of furniture and, though I wish there were more, I'm sure that changes weekly. Fresh eggs from a nearby farm were only $3 a dozen and found in a cooler in an adjoining room; that's a real bargain with grocery prices rising. I bought a blue and white speckled crock missing it's handle for $2 and a beautiful tablecloth for $5. Lots of pricier items, too, if that's your thing.

We had Pella windows installed in our home. An 11k project. Lowes managed to mess up SO MANY things…read moreit was unbelievable. The installers (outside sourced by Lowes) did a great job. Lowes is the problem! First, the Lowes delivery guy dropped the windows off lying flat on a pallet. This caused the 2 bottom windows to separate from their seal. The installer noted that and called Lowes before he left to tell Lowes and to order the replacements. 3 weeks later, when we heard nothing, we checked in and Lowes hadn't even ordered them - oh - and NO expedited orders are available...? Ok, so then when they finally did come in we let the installer look at two other windows that weren't closing properly and he agreed they were defective. This time Lowes did order them - BUT - only ordered 1 (it was 2 windows the same size). I confirmed with the Lowes rep that it is TWO windows and they confirmed - WELL - they only ordered ONE. We found this out when the installer went to pickup the windows. This time they ordered them about 1 week later. Finally, everything was installed within a year time frame (we had asked to not have installation during the winter). We had been discussing compensation for this disaster and they were noting it, seemed to agree, etc. Hmmm...no notations of this when the project was finished. They acted surprised and then offered $70.....$70!!! REALLY!! What an insult - we told them to keep it. We do (DID) a lot of business with Lowes as we have 2 rental properties not to mention projects on our own home. BYE BYE LOWES, hello Home Depot or Mernards!!
