Do not recommend. This company got absolutely nothing right! I had this company out because I had…read morelint from my washing machine back up into my dishwasher. Without looking at the pump, the repairman said the pump was bad. I showed him the lint inside my dishwasher, so I assumed it was plugged. Wouldn't even look to see if the lint just needed to be removed from the hose. Long story short $60 to be told it was a bad pump without actually looking at anything! I said fine order a new one. Waited weeks and they called and scheduled the repair. Then no call and no show on the scheduled replacement day. I called and they rescheduled. He showed back up today and can't get the dishwasher out of the hole to replace the pump. If he had done anything other than charge me $60 last time, he would have known that! Complete waste of time with them. I did call the company and spoke to the owner prior to posting this review. He said if his guy said it was the pump, it was the pump. He said they don't pull apart the dishwasher because the hose might leak when they put it back together. (Oh you mean you can't replace the little clamp as part of your inspection we paid $60 for???). Now that I know what everything looks like I am shocked!! Updated: it gets better. The repairman. told me I'd have to take my counter top off or rip up my floor to get the dishwasher out. I recently bought the house, but I was pretty sure NOTHING had been updated since it was built 20 years ago. He tells me they put in the wood floor around the dishwasher so I have to tear it up to get the dishwasher out. The contractor comes out to either remove the counter top or tear up the floor. He spins the feet on the bottom of it, and pulls the dishwasher right out!!! Seriously! How does a repairman with 20 years of experience (which is what the owner told me when I called to complain about him not actually checking anything) NOT know to spin the feet to remove it??? Now that it's out, I'll be calling someone else to look at it. I'll update if it wasn't the pump to begin with. Since he never looked at it, it's hard to say. 2nd update: So, it was NEVER the pump! Had that jerk looked at anything, I wouldn't have spent months without a dishwasher. The pump worked fine, which we found out by unplugging the drain hose from the disposal. Turns out the handyman who installed the new disposal forgot to pop out the dishwasher plug before installing it. Dishwasher had no issues! This company got absolutely NOTHING right. Run!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel others…read moreshould be aware. I originally heard from this company on April 30 for a warranty repair on a washing machine and provided all the requested information the same day. After that, I heard nothing for nearly a week until May 6, when they finally reached back out to schedule. As property owners who regularly coordinate appliance and maintenance service calls across multiple rental properties, we work with repair technicians often and have never experienced anything like this. Scheduling with tenants, coordinating access, and working with third-party service providers is something we do regularly, and we've never had issues with communication or professionalism until this experience. When I tried to clarify scheduling due to tenant availability, communication quickly became unprofessional. Rather than simply answering questions or discussing options, I was met with dismissive, rude responses over text and was also spoken to unprofessionally over the phone. To make matters worse, important appointment requirements--such as needing an adult present--were never communicated upfront, only brought up after the technician was already on the way. Instead of taking ownership of that lack of communication, the responsibility was shifted onto me. At that point, we no longer felt comfortable moving forward. The repair was never completed, and we ultimately contacted GE Appliances directly. To their credit, GE was extremely helpful, listened to our concerns, and immediately arranged service with A-Tech Appliance. Before my call with GE had even ended, A-Tech had already reached out, helped us get scheduled, and clearly communicated important appointment expectations--including that someone 18 or older needed to be present and that pets should be secured. That is what professional communication looks like. If you're in Arkansas and need appliance service, I would absolutely recommend A-Tech. Scheduling issues happen--I understand that. But poor communication, lack of professionalism, and speaking to customers disrespectfully is not acceptable. Based on our experience, I would not use this company again. After this experience, I reviewed other customer feedback and was disappointed--but not surprised--to see similar concerns raised about communication and professionalism.

Wish I could give negative stars. The cancelled my repair because I wasn't home, and that's fine…read more I was on my way, but they stated the rep couldn't wait and closed the repair. What upsets me is that they told Samsung the unit was fine and didn't have any problems, then closed my ticket. This means no new repair was ordered. This shows extremely unethical behaviour. Cancelling the repair is fine, not wanting to service is fine, but to lie to the company that hired you, that shows the character of the company. Looking on Google, they have a lot of bad reviews, and only are in business because companies like Samsung hire them because they are a low cost provider. Most customers wouldn't hire them, but don't have a choice. In addition, they are not accredited on the Better Business Bureau, showing my experience wasn't a one off. These guys are crooks and liars. Cancel the repair, but don't lie to Samsung. That shows the character of ownership.

Long review but Bottom line: Dishonest and Extremely…read moreUnprofessional. Was told by the owner and I am quoting so please forgive the vulgarity - I am this specific to truly show how unbelievable my experience with NRC Appliance Repair actually was.... they told me To "Fuck Off Lady" after expressing my concern about my experience with this company. Giving a poor rating is not something I do as a rule. My husband typically handles all the repairs at our home but he was not available to meet with the technician from NRC Appliance Repair on this day. Everyone has a bad experience at one time or another and I believe customers should always reach out to work directly with the business before posting a poor rating. To try and be thorough in my review but also as brief as possible I will begin: Out of courtesy I asked to speak to the technician first. He came to my home to diagnosis my dryer that would not tumble. I wanted to ensure I did not misunderstand his diagnosis before expressing my concern to the owner. He told me that my dryer was not working because the motor went out and that it would be $300+\- dollars for a new motor. I chose not to go that route and to instead buy another dryer that would be under warranty. I paid the $94 for the diagnosis and service call only to learn that there was nothing wrong with the motor. Another technician who uses "used- inoperable appliances" for parts, fixed my dryer and had it running in 5 minutes after looking at it. There was nothing wrong with the motor. I was in disbelief that I was just told by NRC Appliance Repair that the motor was not working only to hear it was running perfectly after a five minute repair from the other technician. I understand that at times mistakes are made and people get things incorrect. My experience has always been when that occurs you go to the company and express your concern and they will professionally do their best to make it right. This was not the case with NRC Appliance Repair. In this case, the customer service was appalling. The professionalism was nonexistent and I was in shock and disbelief at what had just occurred on the phone. When I read poor reviews I usually have the feeling those poor reviews are often times the result of unrealistic expectations sometimes set with people who are never happy regardless of how good the service is. This is not one of those cases. I am generally very pleased with good service and put my trust in people first without being skeptical. In my opinion- NRC Appliance Repair - is purposefully Mis-diagnosing for profit using their marketing mantra that you only have to pay $94 if they don't repair your dryer. After speaking to the technician they sent to my home , He was very quiet after I told him what I learned from the other technician. I called to speak to the owner but was told by the receptionist that she could assist me. I told her my concern and she asked me to hold. After a brief time, she came back to the phone and I could hear a man in the background, whom I can only assume was the owner, talking very loudly telling her " just give her the fucking money back and put her on the do not service again list". I could not believe what I was hearing. I didn't know what to say. I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism. I asked her why was he was yelling at her and told her that if he was a gentleman he would talk to me directly without loudly telling her what to say to me where he could be heard in the background. I felt it necessary for some reason at this point to defend her not really sure how best to do so. She then told him what I said about being a gentleman and he yelled from the background again-- and I quote - "fuck you lady - your not getting your money back" and then I was hung up on. I hope this never happens to you and this is the reason for my poor review of NRC Appliance Repair.
