Rachael Vandermeide was so abrasive, rude, dishonest, need I go on? The way she treated my kids and the congregation during the funeral was seriously unprofessional. I have many family members that have plots and services set up with Lindquist and if I knew they could get their money back or that it wouldn't be a hassle I would request them to move to a different Mortuary. I will say that there was a sweet gentleman there that was incredibly professional and respectful. Rachael on the other hand was the total opposite. And I am not exaggerating! From the moment we walked through the doors and met Triston, we were made to feel understood, unrushed and comfortable. He was incredibly thorough and patiently answered our every question. We were SO impressed with his attention to detail, his follow-through and communication skills. Every option was openly discussed (including all costs) and written down for us to take home to consider. We were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable their costs were! No hidden fees or surprises either- in fact, just the opposite! He worked WITH US to brainstorm ways we could save money so we could stay within our budget. From the moment we started working with Tayler in the office to the headstone being placed by a very nice young man, the experience was amazing. Tayler was so kind and patient with us going back and forth with her to finalize the final product. Once that was completed I went to the cemetery to meet the man who placed the headstone. He was also so patient with me while I communicated with family about the placement. The company as a whole was so nice and thorough and understanding. Would totally recommend this company! I left a negative review of Utah headstone Design in regards to my husbands headstone/bench a…read morecouple of months ago. Because the base for the bench seat was made not quite tall enough, the overhanging bench seat made it hard to see the name. I was finally able to talk to the owners of the company and they gave me some ideas to correct the problem or some additional engraving ideas that were possible. They have now added his name along with mine to the bench seat and I am happy with the finish product. I did not know how to remove the negative review , so I am leaving this second review to let everyone know they were willing to help me feel better about the finished product.

Norris took special care of my mother during this difficult time at the loss of our father. Norris knew my Dad and he made sure several extra details were taken care of and were removed from my Mom's list of things to do. We had a long drive to the cemetery and he took care of everything at the cemetery so that we didn't have to. We felt loved and supported. Norris took his time and allowed us to take ours at every step. Thank you for making a difficult day a beautiful day to honor our beloved father.
