And, the coup de grace -- the beaten and worn scraper was beautifully finished with a new, perfectly straight blade. They've provided the same great attention to our chainsaws. I mentioned that I had my snowblower repaired last year and thought it was $25.00 for pickup and delivery because they said it would be $35.00 now. And I remember they use to do it for free probably because they were hard up for business. Robbie started to get a little irritated at me. We talked about what was wrong withe machine. He said it would need the cable and probably the dashboard too and it would cost $90 for labor $67.00 for parts and $35.00 for pickup and delivery total $192.00 plus tax about $200. So I said just come and pick it up, they said okay it will probably be tomorrow. They called me a couple hours later and said can they pick it up now? I said sure. The very next day they called me and said we will need to order the parts from a different place because Husqvarna is out until March of 2026. I will cost $20.00 more. He also said that I should also get these things fix the Auger is bent and the Scraper blade all need to be replaced. Total charge would be $550.00, I said I will get back to you. I went down to to the shop and Talked to Emily I told her I could get all the parts for $67.00 the dashboard and cable through Amazon. Emily said we don't buy through Amazon. I said how much it will be she said $240.00 I said including tax? Then I took a business card and wrote down $240 she didn't say anything, then I left. Emily called me up November 24 at 2.36 pm and said your snow blower is ready and its $252 and you need to pay for it and we will bring it up. I immediately said we agreed on $240.00 including tax she said there's $12.00 shipping. We argued and I think I said why are being such a bitch. Anyway we continued argue about the extra $12.00 then she hung up on me. I called her back and said I will give you a credit card but I will back charge the extra $12.00 she said I need cash then. I called a few days later I have cashiers check they said they will not take it only cash and you have been a pain in the ass speaking real loud yelling at me. Then they said I have 30 days to pick it up. If you look around on the internet you will see all the negative comments about them including the Better Business Bureau. Their customer service is horrible mainly with Emily. Some of the other complaint is how they find other problems with your machine other than what you wanted fix. They also told people that their machine was a piece of sh*t. They have also told customers to get the F**K off their property. This company should not be in business please do not do business with them you will probably regret it. I called three companies that the cemetery recommended and Bountiful Memorial was one of them. They quoted me a little more than the others, so we decided to go with one of the cheaper companies in Sandy. When we met with them though and they drew up the design we wanted, they told us that they were extremely busy and that we would be lucky to have it installed before Memorial Day, which was over 10 months away (this was July). I know that they are owned by Larkin and I'm sure that factored into the time since they are a big business, which didn't surprise me after walking around their huge lot with hundreds of headstones they were working on. We were shocked that it was going to take that long, but decided to go ahead and order it anyway. They said they would email us the paperwork to sign and then we could put a deposit down and they would start the process and get the stone ordered. When I didn't hear back from them after that for over a week (they messed up my email address apparently), I was frustrated and figured it must be a sign. So I stopped by Bountiful Memorial one afternoon, since I drive by there all the time anyway. As I was wondering around the small property looking at the granite stones, Robert (who I found out is the owner) came out and started talking to me. I asked him a few questions and then I told him that we had actually decided to go with another company because they were cheaper. He asked me what they quoted me and I told him and showed him the design. He pointed out several things to me and told me that not using a granite base was risky since it can crack after a few years since the ground settles, and that it's worth paying a little more upfront to save money later. I've had some friends that this has happened to, so it really made sense to me. The other place was also charging me for things that Robert said they include for no charge as well. In looking at his designs and the work they do it was hands down more beautiful and higher quality, and you could tell that they really take pride in what they do. He gave me a few suggestions and showed me a few that he was working on to give me an idea of what was possible. I felt so good about Bountiful Memorial after talking with him that I gave him a down payment right then and told him that we wanted him to make the headstone for us. I was so grateful that things didn't work out with the first company we were going to go with! Robert did say that it could take up to 7 or 8 months for it to be installed (instead of the 10 or 11 from the first company), which was fine. I stopped by a few times after that to look at the other headstones and find out when our stone would arrive and each time the owner and his sons were so nice and helpful. They've been in business as a family for over 70 years and you can really tell by the craftsmanship and quality, and they take so much pride in their work. Whenever we would walk through the cemetery over the last several months we paid attention to all of the headstones. We could always tell who had their headstones made from Bountiful Memorial. The quality is unmatched! The temple carvings especially are so much better than anyone else's and they really stand out. We were surprised to hear from them after 3 1/2 months that our stone had been delivered to them and we could come in and finalize the design before they started working on it. We met with them and went over exactly what we wanted and were so confident that they would do a great job. They also told us that they could install it before Christmas so that we could surprise our daughter who was home from college. They worked hard on it, and true to their word it was installed a few weeks later, several weeks before Christmas. We are beyond thrilled with the quality of the headstone, and are so grateful that we ultimately chose Bountiful Memorial Art!! During such a painful and difficult time as having to purchase a headstone for a child, they were beyond helpful. We now have a headstone that is so much nicer that we ever imagined, and that will last and that our family will appreciate forever.

My mother passed in Austin Texas, I dressed and did her hair and makeup and Beck Funeral Home's cosmetologist and director assisted free of charge knowing my mother wanted me to do so. They also allowed us to follow them to the airport so our children could say, "bye Hammy, we love you." We were also given misinformation as far as the cost of flying her there (from Russon Brothers, who wanted us to buy the casket from them instead, saying the weight was so much less etc--it was exactly the same). In addition, they don't have Wi-Fi that even supports the "virtual services" that they tout being such a wonderful opportunity during Covid. As a grieving daughter, with 3 little ones, multiple high-risk people in our family and abiding by my mothers wishes that we stay in Texas to not expose ourselves during the pandemic, being nickel and dime'd by Russon Brothers on the very day of my mother's funeral--is a most despicable act of bad faith. Their guestbook still does not work 1 in 10 entries have been posted and we have had to call 4 times on the matter. We have had more than 3 dozen reach out saying after 48hrs or more their entries still do not show and with such little kids those memories and condolences are priceless to keep my mother's memory alive for our children. They tried to tell us that they just needed to be moderated and we know for a fact that's not the error. I signed up as a "subscriber" so that I could verify when people were posting in the guestbook and haven't received one notification yet. As if these failures are not painful enough my brother let them know yesterday that he and his wife would be coming up to make any adjustments necessary and I verified at 10am MT today the condition her body arrived in and I was told by Russon Brothers that her body was in good condition and minor touchups were no issue--And then they let my brother know--after the fact--that they were going to charge an additional $320 for those "minor touchups" and they didn't even have our permission to touch her--in fact he and his young family were headed there at the time they received the updated costs. We didn't even get a phone call first... and yet took the time ourselves to check in as we did not hear from them yesterday after they met the airplane as they promised. So they can't let us know if she arrived ok but they sure can find time to extort families on the day they bury a loved one. Going back to Covid and how they're talking about their safety. If we walk 10 feet next-door to their empty chapel it's almost $4000 more so instead of placing families in a more socially distanced and appropriate/empty venue they're willing to do so for the minor cost $4000-more than Beck Funeral Home and travel cost cumulatively. Mom's funeral will be beautiful because of the countless who love her and we will not allow Russon Brothers to rob us of that--but I have never been so disgusted by any business because the notion of let's call and harass them over finances that were agreed-upon and signed upon previously right before the family is supposed to come for a private viewing because what family isn't just going to increase what they are willing to pay to have their loved one most presentable on the day of his/her funeral. I wish we had gone with another funeral home or done graveside services only even in the middle of winter it would've been better than dealing with Russon brothers. They're so worried about plastering their shameless advertising that even when you share a loved ones obituary the loved ones photo is 1/10 of the link shared instead it's a link about their mortuary and crematory services.

We spent nearly $9,000 on a patio cover after explaining that durability was extremely important because we have large dogs. Nobody bothered to tell us the support posts were thin aluminum that dent incredibly easily. Nobody bothered to tell us the gutter opening was so small that it's nearly impossible to clean and is lined with sharp metal edges. When we first reported these issues years ago, we were essentially told, "Too bad." One owner even admitted the gutter design had been a known flaw for over 20 years. Twenty years. Yet they continue selling it without disclosing the issue to customers beforehand. Fast forward to this year. The gutter is still impossible to clean. Leaf blower? Doesn't work. Hose? Doesn't work. Pressure washer? Doesn't work. The only way to remove debris is by reaching into the tiny opening with your hands, which has resulted in my husband cutting himself multiple times on the sharp metal. Two months ago we called because the patio cover was still under warranty. We were told a work order would be submitted and someone would contact us. Nobody ever did. So today we called again. The first employee agreed that our gutter didn't sound right and told us it should have around 3 to 4 inches of clearance. He said he'd submit another work order. Less than ten minutes later, my husband got a call from management. Not to schedule the repair. Not to apologize. Not to honor the warranty. Instead, he was told they would NOT service our patio cover because I left an honest negative Google review years ago. Think about that for a second. Their response wasn't, "Let's make this right." It was, "You criticized us, so we're refusing to help you." That tells you everything you need to know about this company's integrity. They had multiple opportunities over the years to fix this issue, earn back our trust, and prove they stand behind their work. Instead, they chose pettiness over professionalism. A good company isn't defined by never making mistakes. It's defined by how it handles them. Kool Breeze has repeatedly shown that once they have your money, accountability goes out the window. Spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of contractors who actually stand behind their work instead of punishing customers for telling the truth.
