I am just going to copy and paste my email complaint that I wrote to Ad Driving School. with regards to the 6 paid driving lessons I paid "Steve" for my sons driving lessons. I have put ***** to avoid using my sons name. Please note that the only reply I got was that they will "fully investigate your concerns". Hiya My name is *********, mother of *******. I apologise for the delay in responding to your recent text message [12-10-25] regarding ******* progress, which stated: "He said "*******" isn't progressing quickly as he needs to do longer lessons and more frequent..." If this is the case, I'm concerned that "*******" was not given clear guidance on what specific areas he needed to improve. He has consistently asked Steve at the end of each lesson if there were any areas requiring attention, yet received no constructive feedback. Additionally, I find it unacceptable that 15 to 20 minutes of each lesson were spent driving to a car park, which significantly reduced his actual learning time. I would also like to raise several concerns regarding Steve's professionalism: 1) He did not clearly communicate when exactly he would return from his holiday to resume lessons. 2) Upon returning, he requested a last-minute change to "*******"'s scheduled lesson. 3) He failed to inform "*******" of a second holiday to Portugal-- "*******" only found out through casual conversation. 4) He arrived late to a lesson, resulting in a 20-minute shortfall. During our phone conversation in September, you mentioned that Steve is the only manual driving instructor available in that area. This suggests a high level of reliance on him, which makes these issues even more concerning. I am really annoyed, it was explained that I could not afford 10 bulk lessons but could afford 3 lessons a month and I have been bringing "*******" out for lessons myself, so I find Steve and his lack of professionalism highly offensive. I am reluctant to escalate this further as I feel I'm not going to get anywhere even though 20 minutes of a lesson is still owed. I'll be honest it's bad representation that affects a business and its reviews, however I trust that your organisation values professionalism and student progress, and I hope appropriate steps will be taken to address these concerns. Kind regards, "*************" read more

Passed my test with these guys and have to say they are GREAT! Tony (my instructor) was brilliant. He would spend time with me on my difficult areas and always praise me and gave me such confidence that I passed my test first time. Amazing driving school and great prices too, they have an offer on for 10 lessons for just £99 and after doing my research on other companies this is a great offer. read more

AVOID AB DRIVING SCHOOL. They are super dodgy! I will try to explain as briefly as possible what happened to me, but it's difficult to paraphrase just how much hassle I was put through. I wanted to get my license as soon as possible. I was attracted to AB because of the 10 lessons for £99 beginners deal. I had undergone a number of lessons over 4 years ago with one instructor. I explained this to the instructor (Beverley) over the phone when booking the first lesson and she happily agreed. We booked the first hours lesson upon those terms. I handed her the £99 on the first lesson and she explained the terms of the deal. She told me that she had forgotten to bring the contract with her but assured me that she would bring one next time. I naively agreed and handed over the money. We booked in 2 hours for the next lesson. In the first 5 minutes of the lesson we got into a trivial argument about punctuality and maneuvers which ended with her ending the lesson and kicking me out of the car telling me to send her my bank details so she could refund me. I want to make that clear that She ended the lesson. I was happy to continue with the lesson once my nerves had settled. After a few days I checked my bank statement and noticed I had only been refunded £30 out of the £89.10 that was owed to me. I had only had one hours lesson at a rate of £9.90. Beverley ended the lesson. I complained to her manager and he got in touch with her. A few days later I received a forwarded message from Beverley to her manager. The message explained that she had decided to charge me for 3 hours at a full rate of £23. So she thought it acceptable to charge me over double the agreed amount for 3 hours of lessons, two of which I didn't even receive. Her reasons for this were because she regarded me as untrustworthy, accusing me of being "awkward" and deceitful in order to get the £99 offer. She also called me a "time waster" and created fabrications about my prior driving experience, even though I was completely transparent from the beginning. She thought it absolutely fine to overcharge me £59.10. This is a huge amount of money for me to loose. I responded to her message explaining my side of the story and was continuously ignored. I called her manager several times. It rang, and then went to voicemail every time. After no response for weeks, I saw no other option than to ask my uncle, who is a solicitor, to write a letter demanding a proper refund. After which, as if by magic, AB Driving School began to reciprocate. They stated that all their instructors are self employed so they are absolved of all responsibility regarding the dispute. Beverley then forwarded me an email she had sent to her manager regarding the solicitors letter. She accused me of fear mongering and said I don't have a leg to stand on because there was no contract signed. She then contradicted herself by stating both that she dealt with the matter in a professional manner whilst also choosing to hold back the contract because she deemed me to be dodgy from the start. So she held back the contract because she didn't trust me, yet she was more than happy to take money from me. She misled me and lied to me about running out of contracts. And she continuously spouted falsehoods about my legitimacy to her manager. Anyway, I eventually ended up getting refunded a fraction of what I was owed after over a month of unnecessary stress and hassle and without any direct communication from Beverley. And after all this, I still can't drive. Thanks AB Driving School, thanks Beverley. AVOID AB DRIVING. They are seriously dodgy. read more

From my past experience very lazy instructor ,no will for him move you up in stages wasted a lot of time and money driving left right and straight ,apparently you will have to be perfect in this field in order to move on to manouvers and roundabouts ,he also has a colour issue as this shows in his lack of enthusiasm!!!! read more
