I am just going to copy and paste my email complaint that I wrote to Ad Driving School. with…read moreregards to the 6 paid driving lessons I paid "Steve" for my sons driving lessons. I have put ***** to avoid using my sons name. Please note that the only reply I got was that they will "fully investigate your concerns". Hiya My name is *********, mother of *******. I apologise for the delay in responding to your recent text message [12-10-25] regarding ******* progress, which stated: "He said "*******" isn't progressing quickly as he needs to do longer lessons and more frequent..." If this is the case, I'm concerned that "*******" was not given clear guidance on what specific areas he needed to improve. He has consistently asked Steve at the end of each lesson if there were any areas requiring attention, yet received no constructive feedback. Additionally, I find it unacceptable that 15 to 20 minutes of each lesson were spent driving to a car park, which significantly reduced his actual learning time. I would also like to raise several concerns regarding Steve's professionalism: 1) He did not clearly communicate when exactly he would return from his holiday to resume lessons. 2) Upon returning, he requested a last-minute change to "*******"'s scheduled lesson. 3) He failed to inform "*******" of a second holiday to Portugal-- "*******" only found out through casual conversation. 4) He arrived late to a lesson, resulting in a 20-minute shortfall. During our phone conversation in September, you mentioned that Steve is the only manual driving instructor available in that area. This suggests a high level of reliance on him, which makes these issues even more concerning. I am really annoyed, it was explained that I could not afford 10 bulk lessons but could afford 3 lessons a month and I have been bringing "*******" out for lessons myself, so I find Steve and his lack of professionalism highly offensive. I am reluctant to escalate this further as I feel I'm not going to get anywhere even though 20 minutes of a lesson is still owed. I'll be honest it's bad representation that affects a business and its reviews, however I trust that your organisation values professionalism and student progress, and I hope appropriate steps will be taken to address these concerns. My instructor liked to teach you as slow as possible to grind as much money out of you as possible…read moreas well as turning up 10mins late and dropping me off 10 mind early which in an hours lesson is also I have tried to cancel my contract with Steve.(useless driving instructor) and now he is trying to charge me for an extra lesson because he didn't get back in touch with me to let him know I was at my mum which was just round the.corner and I texted him at 8 am and.my lesson wasn't till 12 and his excuse was well I didn't.have.my phone on me so it ls tough this man is a poss take an warn anyone from using this useless instructor remember the name and avoid at all cost unless you fancy spending all your money on lessons STEVE MAKING #AVOID

Which may have been part of why I hadn't passed in any of my previous attempts. When I met James, I didn't emotionally feel like I'd ever pass the practical driving test and with 3-4 practical fails, plus numerous theory tests under my belt, I felt like history had shown me the limits of my ability. That all changed when I started learning with James, so after a waiting period, when I got the call to ask it I was still interested, I was delighted to say yes and be officially on his books. I immediately found James to be adaptable to my learning needs, making doubly sure I understood, explaining differently, and talking things through in the times I didn't feel confident, the result of which was that I felt less of a frustrated urge to give up. James is a genuinely wonderful person who is a delight to spend a few focused hours in a car with. I feel like our working relationship blossomed to the point where I would look forward to our humorous moments and now I've passed I know I'll miss the comfort of feeling like my teacher is also a friend. After one year of 2-4 hour lessons once a week and through lockdowns, I passed my first practical driving test with James - the first in 5 or more years - and 1 month before the birth of my first child who will benefit from being driven around as they grow up. I feel so confident driving and exploring my potential that I am even considering an advanced driving course! I am a current student of Eric and am very much enjoying my lessons, so far I have had 12 lessons…read moreand am hoping to pass my test within the next few months. I will be doing up to 30 lessons in total with Eric and am very happy so far with my lessons with him. Eric is a very kind, funny instructor but perfectly understands the line between being friendly and being a good instructor. Eric has made me confident with my driving and we are planning to do no more than 15 lessons from 07.02.15 in order to prepare me for my driving test. As I said I have had 12 lessons with Eric and we are now both looking forward to me completing my theory test to which I will then soon after be going to do my driving test. Thanks to Eric I feel confident in my about my chances and hope I am able to pass first time. I highly reccommend Eric to anyone who is wanting to pass first time or anyone who is a new driver because he will give you the lessons you need as well as give you the confidence you need on the road.

We penciled in a date of when I wanted to pass my practical which I achieved in the same year. I would highly recommend Lee as he puts 100% into his work, I dont think I would have passed without his guidance through my lessons. Thank you for everything you were an amazing instructor.
