My gin-based home away from home. Me and a coworker rolled into Abadia one night, without much of a clue what we were in for. The bartender kindly threw us together a gin and tonic and changed my entire Bilbao experience. We've been back four or five times in just 8 days here. I once trusted reviews on Yelp in Boston when people said this place has the best sushi outside Japan but It turned out to be a fake sushi place(cheap supermarket quality) located behind the mobile phone shop in china town!! tonight I repeated that mistake. I am a big gin and tonic fan, tried many versions ranging from night club to some special speakeasy. I must say this place is charging more than some fancy speakeasy I have been to, but the quality I think is similar to the nightclub. If the drink is amazing, I wouldn't be complaining at all. Maybe it might be good for some people, but not us. We were quite depressed from the whole experience, had to go to another place to redeem the night. Ps. We went there on Tuesday night. read more
