Great location on the river with space indoors and out. It seems to be a 20-something crowd.
The set up is weird. Japanese restaurant on one side, Tex-mex-ish on the other. You have to order and pay for Tex mex food at the Tex mex counter -- you get a buzzer to know when to go pick up your food. Japanese food works the same. But the waitresses take the drink orders and you pay them at the end of the meal. As I said, weird. Confusing, too.
The jalapeño poppers (cremoso de jalapeños) say cheddar stuffed in a jalapeño and deep fried, but the cook got an different message -- cream cheese balls with chopped jalapeño rolled into a ball and deep fried. More of a croqueta. Good, but not as described.
The thin eggplant strips fried look like bacon but aren't. They're delicious and sweet - topped with honey (berengas con miel). read more
