We were interested in making an offer on another home without it being contingent on the sale of our current one and wondered what would be the maximum amount we would qualify for. I left a message with Tiffany at Abbey Mortgage and Derek promptly returned my call. After asking a few basic questions, he was able to do a quick credit check and come up with a pre-qualifying letter for us. After we bought a home, Derek was in communication with us sometimes twice a day by phone, email or text to keep us in the loop as to what documents would be needed to process our loan, and where we were in that process. He was very efficient, knowledgeable and professional--he knows his "stuff"--yet very approachable and friendly. This man is at the top of his game! I would highly recommend Derek at Abbey Mortgage to anyone looking to finance a home purchase. He made our home buying experience a very positive one! read more

So far I have lived at my house for three years, within the first 6 months my mortgage was sold to…read moreanother company and returned to the mortgage firm at least 4 times, it was so bad that I literally had to call each month and find out who I needed to make a payment to. It gets worse, they keep selling my mortgage and have such poor customer service. I was just notified again that my mortgage was sold once more to PNC bank. I make payments within the guidelines and they give me confirmation numbers and then they charge me not only for a missed payment, this is then reported to the credit bureau and I take a hit on my credit, and they are also charging me an additional late payment. Long story short if you want to play guessing games on who you will be paying and have them loose multiple payments and have no real answer for it, I would highly recommend The Mortgage Firm.

Fast and easy loan process. With lower rates than the bank. They can do good and bad credit and have access to conventional, FHA USDA rural housing no money down loans and private mortgages. This was the 2nd time I used Abbey Mortgage to buy a home. They did a good job both times. I called my bank and they did not call me back for over a week. Abbey called me back right away. Abbey had a better rate than my bank. I recommended Abbey to my sister and she also used Abbey as well. My sister had bad credit and she was still able to get a home. They did a great job. My credit is bad and they did a privatre mortgage on my home here in Ocala. It only took 2 weeks and we were done. I will recomend Abbey Mortgage to all my friends and Family.
