My dog suffered rapid weight loss so I took her to the vets. the vet I saw was completely dismissive of her symptoms. I followed his advice and she kept losing more weight , I had a phone call where he was even more dismissive. I took her to the PDSA and followed their advice, then finally they gave her an ultrasound and saw cancer. She was given four weeks to live. Thankfully my girl was prescribed steroids and I've been able to keep her going four months but there's nothing more to be done . i just rang up to be removed from the list and to provide them with feedback and was just subjected to terrible customer service. avoid Ashleigh vets. they have simply stopped caring about anything other than money.

The vet who looked at my turtle was very professional and understood what was up with him even though he didn't open his mouth for her so I had to do it. I thought he might of been blind but she assured me he wasn't,she told me what to do and even put fresh hot water in his container. Another vet explained how to give him his medication and what doeses to give him. The receptionists are always exceptionally friendly and eager to help. You can tell that they genuinely have a love of animals. Every one of the veterinarians we've seen has been very understanding and has dealt with any query we've had. The parking directly outside the practice is tight but for 20p you can park in the small car park next to Bill Smiths motorcycles.

I put it in a basket and covered it up and took it to Park Veterinary Clinic. As an animal lover I was completely devastated and in an emotional state when I arrived. The staff were absolutely amazing to me and they took the kitten off me to put it to sleep. I cannot praise this clinic and their staff enough. They have cared for generations of our feline and canine friends. They have always gone the extra mile, opening the office at all hours of the day and night to perform emergency surgery, to providing antibiotics to a cat with a severe infection. He did not pressure me into spending extra money and made sure he gave me the facts for both options so I could make an informed choice. I left the room, clearly very upset, and the receptionist gave me a tissue and made me a cup of tea, telling me to take my time and there was no rush. Whilst I was sitting recovering the vet came out to see me and said my rat had just drifted away and did not suffer, which made me feel better. I rang up for some information about booking in my now almost not a kitten to be spayed. Yes, unfortunate I know. This being my first kitten (and definitely not my last) my knowledge on this area was a little vague and I wanted to know more. I have plenty of friends and family who had explained it but I wanted it from the horse's mouth (pun definitely intended!). So! The friendly nurse receptionist listened to my request for more information carefully and gave a very thorough response. She told me everything I needed to know and told me it would be best to bring in the kitten for a check up (free) to see if she was old enough and ready for the operation. I brought Eli along to the surgery and she was very well behaved around the 3 huge dogs who just wanted to play! When were called in to see the vet, she was very friendly, lovely attitude and ever so careful with Eli. She gave her a thorough check and made sure to give me details about the best time to book her in. I booked Eli in for the operation and they gave me a leaflet of information to explain everything that would happen. I left feeling very happy with my experience and confident about the procedure. Eli seemed very happy too :)
