My insurance( Geico) completely set me up- They called next day and I talked/explained how it happened all felt well until Geico used "pushed"vs. "pulled in the recorded phone call. Trying to put blame on me?They dropped me? I'm (40M) never been in vehicle accident, Geico only gave me 1/4 value of my truck $5k for pain and suffering- it just didn't feel right. Adam sent me to have MRI's(I had herniated disk), my eyes needed glasses(had perfect vision before). Just an all around disaster and disappointment on my part for trying to fix by myself. I have always been given an excuse as to why I cannot talk with someone, and told that someone will return my call. No one ever bothers to call me back and I get zero information. Finally, when a year has gone by since my accident, I contacted them and they set up a telephone conference for the following day. Of course when the time came, I did not hear from them. Since then, I have tried 3 more times to get at least an update as to the progress of my case but each time I get blown off. The secretary runs interference for them. This is completely unprofessional on their part. As far as I've been told by them, I don't know if anything at all has been done. This is unacceptable. I haven't been able to work since the accident and my financial state has become an emergency due to their lack of effort in doing their job. I am about to lose everything I have due my inability to pay my bills. My bill collectors don't want excuses, they want their money. My credit is now ruined too. As of today, I am firing Ivey Law Firm as my attorneys so that I can find better representation. I am also going to contact the Bar Assoc. to report their lack of ethics and effort in my case. Just maybe someone else will not suffer with their poor, non-existent representation. I believe that their firm should have to answer for their false claims. They are the WORST law firm in Texas. I was with this firm for 3+years, did surgery, injections, everything I could and they still got me an absolutely embarrassing settlement while constantly giving me false hope and numbers that were not accurate.
