A primera vista parecen confiables: te contestan amablemente, te hacen sentir que pueden ayudarte con tu caso de inmigración y te piden pagar $99 por la consulta. En mi caso, después de pagar, me enviaron mensajes diciendo que ya habían revisado mi información y que sí podían llevar mi caso. El día de la cita nunca me mandaron el enlace prometido para poder tomar la consulta vía Zoom. Llamé varias veces y minutos antes de la hora de cita, una señorita llamada PRISCILA RODRÍGUEZ me dijo que no podían ayudarme, a pesar de que antes me habían asegurado lo contrario. Me prometieron un reembolso en 3 a 5 días hábiles, pero nunca llegó. Desde entonces llevo más de un mes intentando obtener respuestas. Cada vez que llamas te transfieren a diferentes personas --al menos a ocho personas en una sola llamada de más de 50min -- y nadie sabe nada ni te pueden dar una respuesta concreta. Todo el trato fue poco profesional y nada transparente. Cada vez que llamaba, me atendía una persona diferente que parecía no tener idea de mi caso. No hay registros, no hay comprobantes de pago, no hay evidencia de las conversaciones ni de la supuesta consulta. Solicité que por vía Email me hiciera llegar alguna prueba de que mi caso sería escalado y manejado de manera apropiada pero me dijo la "SRTA ANA" que no tenían ningún correo electrónico de la firma de ellos en donde me pudiera comunicar. Todo lo manejan por teléfono o mensajes de texto, sin ningún tipo de respaldo legal ni documento formal. Mi cita fue el 15 de septiembre y hoy es 17 de octubre, más de un mes después, y aún no he recibido mi dinero ni ninguna llamada de seguimiento. Ya ni siquiera tengo confianza en llamar porque claramente no hay control ni seriedad dentro de esa oficina. Es muy triste y frustrante ver cómo se aprovechan de la confianza de los inmigrantes que buscan ayuda legal. After not living or having contact with my father since I was 13, a judge appointed backs as our "reunification" therapist. From the first session with Backs I have been very clear that I do not want a relationship with my father due to him physically and emotionally abusing me and my sister. I have told her multiple times I do not feel safe being around him and do not want to attend these therapy sessions. However the abuse does not stop with just my father, Backs has used these sessions to abuse me as well. Backs has attempted to turn me against my mother and my siblings, she has dismissed my father's abusive behavior and is constantly trying to manipulate me as well. After finding out I had been recording these abusive sessions Backs told me I was in violation of HIPPA and what I was doing was illegal and a violation of her contract, not only is this a blatant lie as HIPPA pertains to health care providers also since I am a minor I can't legally be bound by a contract. This doesn't even cover half of the things this crazy "therapist" has done. If you don't believe me just check out videos and audio recording of these sessions with Michael Volpe. AVOID THIS "therapist" AT ALL COSTS!!

This firm absolutely SUCKS and they(Kenneth Sumner in particular) wasted my time and the person's time who I'm trying to help! Going on 3 years ago I spoke with Mr Sumner over the phone and he sounded like a nice guy. I even told him about my bad previous experiences with other attorneys(he used the term that I was "snake bitten" by previous attorneys who I had spoken with and he assured me in certain ways that I wouldn't have this issue win him and his firm). So, I(we) hired him(it was a Will Contest matter and it was on a contingency basis). The first sorry thing this GREEDY firm did was to not even let the personal home of the person who I am helping out not be not included in Will Contest(there was plenty of money to be made with the home having to be included, so he/they are just the typical run of the mill attorney GREEDY attorney firm). But, I(we) were running out of time so we went with them out of concern over a crunched time frame. I personally wasted HOURS of my time providing them with pertinent information about the case, talking by phone over and over and over with different associates of his. I remember they had a major turnover with their employees who would come and go(looking back for whatever reason they didn't keep their employees around for very long, at least the ones who worked on our case). And then we didn't hear anything for a long long long time from them???!!! And this was a breaking point for us so I messaged Mr Sumner about my frustration about the case, the non response on their end and finally he tells me that the Will could no longer be contested???!!! WOW!!! JUST WOW!!! What kind of firm takes a case and then for whatever the reason lets it get to a point where MAYBE time ran out to contest the case???!!! I'm still confused about what happened here, because one would think that any firm who handles Wills and Trusts would know what they were doing whenever taking the case in the first place, what all to check out???!!! So of course this was upsetting news! But because Mr Sumner emailed and left a few voicemails saying that there was another angle to try and get things handled, we decided to give him/them another opportunity to handle it. Mr Sumner commented on how he knew that opposing counsel was kind of crooked and unethical and he seemed like he wasn't afraid to go up against the SORRY UNETHICAL counsel but yet time drug on and on and we were passed the point of being civil to the opposing counsel(I remember whenever hiring them I had to sign an agreement obviously and in the agreement was a notation about being civil and I guess kind to opposing counsel's BUT the point got to where the gloves needed to come off but to be honest Mr Sumner didn't have the STONES to fight back, push back what opposing counsel was throwing at us, and this is a huge part of why I am writing this more accurate review right here)! Long story short I'm helping out my nephew who's incarcerated and for a minute he(my nephew) derailed on his/our end so there was a minor setback on our end(this will be Mr Sumner's BIG follow up to this review I'm sure BUT it still doesn't excuse all of the CRAP that I/we went through until getting to this point and I HATE whenever someone has double standards, I HATE whenever someone does not treat/respect someone the way that they would want to be treated and respected!
