After some initial confusion they were able to find me another unit ( climate controlled ) and I was able to unload the truck about 30 minutes later then initially intended. I understand things can happen beyond anyone's control. They made it right as quickly as possible.

I was simply inquiring about a secluded place where my band can have bi-weekly jam sessions, as we all have our own families and extra space for a practice is not a very good option. This lady proceeded to say how they don't rent to music people as in the past some people, that have nothing to do with me or the people I play with, ended up sleeping in them....whatever their story was, I don't know, but I am not them. Then proceeded to say how if we started playing there, then other people would want to rent out other units. Her assumption of all people that play music are homeless and want to sleep in their storage units is pretty grotesque. I would love to see how she judges all other groups of people out there. Learn how to vet your clientelle, don't be lazy and don't rent to questionable people. This woman sounded very lazy, which makes sense for someone that groups all people of a certain type as the same. Don't be lazy, take care of your units and know what is going on with them. Evident that they only care about getting income, not actually running or having knowledge of their business. All the other storage units I have called were much nicer. This woman clearly holds grudges, even when she doesn't even know you...and she certainly hasn't met me. I'll be looking into if they have other businesses that I need to stay away from. I won't be giving anyone like that money, in any fashion. Read previous other negative review for the issues they had with them. And again, all issues are based around them being lazy.

I really can't comment on the quality of their work as it won't show up until later, but he did spend a lot of time trying to sell me additional services, advising me that it would be $149 additional if I didn't sign up for it right away. He reminded me of a used car salesman. I ran into a friend who was familiar with them and he had a similar opinion. I would not hire them again. PS I could have done the work they did in about an hour if I was 20 years younger. It cost almost $400.

Well, 3 stars for an electrical service that charges $149 to come and give you an estimate, no…read morematter if you accept or pass on what their estimate will be. I contacted them using their webform, and unfortunately,.. before reading other reviews regarding this fee that they charge and ended up passing on using them when they contacted me. There's many other excellent electricians in the area that won't charge you a penny to come by and with no obligations to use them. That's the way we ended up going and we'll still have the excellence of service at a very competitive price. I'm sure Lloyd's is a great company and this review is not suggesting otherwise, but, do you want to spend $149 to end up not even using them? Lloyd's might consider a new policy for 2025, ..."your $149 estimate fee will be credited to your work", in-other-words, if you went with using Lloyd's, they would credit you that $149 back. Sadly, that is not their policy. Yet.

They also repaired my boiler's vent tube and installed a cap, so the vent whistle works and things are now up to code. Everything looks great and works perfectly. Jason and his crew were very polite and professional, and they explained everything that they were doing throughout the process. They were punctual and completed work in a timely manner. They also kept everything neat and clean. Best of all, the finished cost was exactly what I had been quoted in the estimate. And the price was very reasonable. Horizon Plumbing & Heating came in at a much lower cost than other estimates I received. They did an exceptional job. I highly recommend Horizon Plumbing & Heating and Jason Foster.

I cannot stress how happy I was with customer service and quality, and how friendly they are! While moving I had a very difficult to maneuver 26' long truck and the owner was SO kind to help back it up safely (I am not experienced with such a large vehicle and did not want to accidentally damage anything backing up!). He went the extra mile in customer service during a stressful move! I also purchased boxes, packing tape, etc at far more reasonable prices than other locations in the Barre-Montpelier area and would suggest checking them out for packing materials when moving even if you don't have a unit with them. Packing up my storage unit, giving it a quick sweep, and taking care of business was simple and stress-free. I have moved to a very small town in the south and even storage units here at bigger areas cost a minimum of $125 for much smaller units than I rented at Linbrooke. There just simply isn't a better priced and easier to access location in the area with staff on site during day hours, many other local places don't have offices or anyone easy to contact. If you live in the Barre City/Town, South Barre, Williamstown, Berlin, Graniteville area this is where you want to go...I'd say even as far as Montpelier.
