We stumbled across this hidden gem just by driving by, and we're so glad we stopped!…read more Admission was $17 per child. They don't offer a military discount or multiple kid discount, but you can often find great deals on Groupon. Everyone is required to wear socks, which they sale for $3.75. Hot food isn't allowed inside, but you can bring in chips and other packaged snacks. The facility was very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. There were plenty of snacks and drinks available for purchase, lots of seating for parents, and I especially liked the party rooms and arcade area. One thing that really stood out was the toddler section. It had seating for parents and a nearby bathroom, which made it much more convenient for families with little ones. We arrived around 1:00 p.m. and stayed until 3:00 p.m., and the kids were still having a blast when it was time to leave! It's a great place to let kids burn off energy in a safe, clean environment.

Their prices for admission is comparable to other play gyms for kids, but they do offer packages if you intend to go more than once. The staff were really nice and welcoming as well. They had two separate play areas - one for littles and one for bigger kids - which both included chairs for parents to sit and watch. We like that they had a hand washing station in the play area and promoted cleanliness for all attendees. We would definitely take our daughter back if we are in the area.

Just love the covered parking that makes it so easy to get in and out and what a production Mary Poppins was. You guys! This is such a nice treat for the whole family with VERY reasonably priced tickets. We have see many a production, but this was just as awesome an experience in a different way. When you watch your daughter engage with the music and see her pure joy during the whole performance....you think, "Who needs Broadway?" We enjoyed ourselves immensely and our girl got to get a pic with Miss Poppins herself after the show.

When opportunities are repeatedly given only to students personally favored by Kameron Knotts, it sends a damaging message to the rest of the cast: your effort, loyalty, and dedication do not matter. Watching long‑time students be ignored while new students receive every role simply because they are liked is heartbreaking. It creates an exclusionary environment where many kids feel invisible, discouraged, and undervalued. A youth theater program should uplift all students, not just a select few. Families deserve a fair, respectful, and supportive environment where every child has a genuine chance to grow. NTPA needs to address this issue if it wants to maintain the trust of the community.

As we prepare to say goodbye, it already feels incredibly emotional. What makes this school so special is the people. Every teacher and staff member genuinely knows and cares for each child and family. The thoughtfulness and consistency, year after year and across both of our kids, has been remarkable. Our children were given a joyful, confidence-building start, with the perfect balance of play and early academics. As we head to Greenhill School, we feel incredibly grateful for how well they've been prepared. We also found our community here. Some of our closest friendships started at this school, which says everything about the environment they've created. We are so grateful for these five years. If you're considering Canyon Creek Day School, you can feel very confident in your choice. We will miss it deeply.

My girls started attending in preschool, and like many moms, I was anxious about the transition to a new school. We are Frisco residents and make the commute to Plano daily. CCDS immediately ensured the transition was seamless. We enrolled them in the summer day camp before the fall start, and they quickly fell in love with the staff and their peers. The teachers are excellent and are attentive, nurturing, and truly invested in each child. Both of my girls have grown tremendously, not only academically but also in confidence. The lesson plans are thoughtfully designed to build strong foundational skills and prepare students to become highly capable readers by the time they graduate. My only gripe is that the school doesn't go beyond kindergarten :( I'm genuinely sad it stops there! From the cleanliness of the bright classrooms to the enrichment classes offered and the nutritious meals provided, everything feels thoughtfully curated for my girls. They are excited to go to school each day and even more excited at pickup to tell me all about it. I can tell how loved they are because every staff member knows them by name and treats us like family. If you're looking for a loving place where your child can truly thrive, look no further!
