However we had countless committed dates for installation that came and gone. They would often say they would be onsite and never show up. Early on I referred them to a friend of ours and they experienced the same thing as they would most often never show up. Eventually after the job was complete, we found that the eye sensors for the gate were not hooked up and the job site was not cleaned up. We asked the owner to come clean the site but never returned. Biggest complaint is that they would say they would be there and never show up where we consistently had to call to find out when they would return.

Because of that history it was a no brainer when I wanted to have a half acre fenced in with a big electric gate at the driveway. I got three quotes, Stacey was the middle guy. I didn't mind paying a little extra because he had such knowledge and put me in a completely new direction, one that was more affective. Stacey had suggestions others hadn't mentioned and as I stated, knowledge. We had many appointments before finalizing this project. Stacey was always on time. Never leaving me hanging on, wondering where he was. He always called and touched bases shortly before our appointment. He told me how far out he was booked and gave me a guesstimate of when he and his crew would start. He was right on time. He started when he said he would. The guys that worked for him could not of been more of a joy to have around. Always picking up after them selves, never leaving a mess at the end of any day. I called this company to ask them to stop by and I would show them a few areas of fencing that…read moreneeded to be done. They stated they would be out in a few days to take a look at it. He mentioned to me that it sounded like a small job and they don't do small jobs but since I lived in the same neighborhood that they would do it anyway. Again I told them that when they arrived I would show them what all needed to be done because it wasn't THAT small of a job. When I didn't hear anything from them for two weeks, I called Bend Fencing who promptly came over, gave me an estimate and I hired them right on the spot. Yesterday Redmond Fence finally called me back. They told me that they had been by the place and that the job was too small. I found that statement interesting due to the fact that I am the only one that lives here, my neighbors don't know what I wanted done here and Redmond Fence never had me come out and show them what all needed to be done. This leads me to believe that they were never here at all. I'm glad that Bend Fence likes to make money because apparently Redmond Fence has so much money they can pick their jobs they want to do. Update: In response to the owner's rebuttal. How could they have looked at what needed to be done if I never showed them to begin with? I only explained briefly over the phone what needed to be done. I then told them over the phone that they needed to let me know when they showed up. I stated to them that the reason for this is that there were several things that needed to be done and it was easier to show them rather than explain it. In the end the project was sizable including three gates and over 100 feet of fence.
