I am a Realtor with…read moreBetter Homes and Gardens Real Estate 43 North and helped a client through a build job with Hayden Homes in the Ashton Estates subdivision in Kuna. He closed on his home in October of 2022, moved in and started enjoying his new home. Unfortunately he ran into a situation this year (2023) that caused him to need to sell after only about 6 short months, we put his home on the market and received an offer. There were a few small items that needed repair and the buyer also had some questions that required a rather detailed response. She was finding conflicting information from various sources and it looked like the deal was in jeopardy of not moving forward. Thomas took care of the warranty items quickly, even returned to the home twice in one day rather than pushing it off to a different day. He was also super helpful providing information to address the buyer's concerns and was able to help her feel comfortable moving forward with the purchase. It's not very common to find people like Thomas, he is an incredible asset for the Hayden Homes team. We are grateful he was the one assigned to us and so thankful that he cared enough to go way out of his way and make sure he did everything he could to help us. This guy deserves a raise and all the recognition you can give him.

Think twice before purchasing from Haden Homes. Our house was built in 2018, and in just a few…read moreyears we've dealt with plumbing problems, flooring that is sinking and separating, and even gas furnace issues. These are not minor cosmetic concerns--these are serious, costly problems that no homeowner should be facing in such a new house. When we reached out, Haden Homes repeatedly told us it was "just the house settling" and insisted it wasn't their responsibility to fix. That's unacceptable. Settling does not cause widespread floor failure, plumbing issues, and furnace problems. These point to poor workmanship and low-quality construction. The worst part? They've done nothing to resolve any of it. We've been left with unsafe, unreliable systems and expensive repairs, while Haden Homes refuses to take accountability. If you're considering buying from them, please reconsider. Buyers deserve to know what we've experienced: a company that will happily take your money but disappear when real problems arise. Save yourself the frustration--we wish we had chosen differently.

The work was completed well, and I'm happy with the outcome. When it came time for billing, I was surprised to learn that a second technician had been onsite, as that hadn't been discussed in advance. As a result, the labor cost came in about 2x higher than I expected. To be fair, I live on the second floor of a condo (with elevator access), and the installation was more complex due to the flooring, so I don't question the time or effort involved. To avoid any budget surprises, I would recommend confirming upfront how many technicians will be assigned to the job. Overall, I would work with Jason again and would recommend him to others. UPDATE- I had a small leak with one of the toilets and Jason came out right away to adjust it. He definitely stands behind his work! I originally set the review at 4 stars, but have adjusted it up to 5 stars because of this. Thanks Jason!

After reading that they prune inside out, and not just hedge trim, I wanted to see if I could work with them. They did a HUGE spring clean up on about 1/2 my yard (the front 1/2), removing tons of weeds, pruning, removing mistletoe form tree, just overall, doing some long overdue love for this darling yard. I had done my best- but I just could not keep up. They even brought in rock and ensured irrigation was covered. While it was a little more than I had planned- it was ABSOLUTELY worth it. No other spring clean up service would have done 1/2 what they did! Worth every penny. I work 2 remote roles- and I joked with them that I would happily figure out a third job to be able to continue using these services in the future. We only did 1/2 to stay in my available budget- and will do the other 1/2 major clean up in the fall. Demian will work with you to get your priorities in your budget. Be a little patient if you have a smaller project- they WILL get to you and get back to you- but it is a small business and they fit you in in between larger projects. And in all honesty, they were my first choice, but I was also contacting 6-8 other similar services. Most never called back, or if they did it was weeks and weeks out before they could even come take a look. Demian and the the guys called me back, said they would be over to take a look and start the job a few days later, and ta da- my yard looks brand new again! Now I can keep up with the weeds until they come in the fall- and I get TONS of complements- my neighbors have all commented how good it looks! I cannot say thank you enough, or emphasize the value of what you get with these guys- they really know their stuff, and they will do things RIGHT, so your landscape not only looks good- it is also actually healthy! WORTH EVERY PENNY.

As part of the remodel on the kitchen and back porch they widened a door and took part of the wall down between the former kitchen and dining room. The space is fantastic and completely transformed from what it was. They created more space in the bathroom as well by removing a wall and doing a complete remodel on the space, including a beautiful tiled shower. It looks great and the price was such a great value as Jim really works with your budget. Some of the demo we did and then the construction crew took over from there. The entire space looks and feels completely different. A couple years ago they remodeled our garage and turned it from a leaning 1950's tear down garage into a fantastic area for us to work in. They made the ceiling higher and installed an oversized garage door for us to get larger equipment in and out. The space is fantastic and that's why we asked them to come back and do the remodel on the house. I couldn't be happier with the end result. I highly recommend them for any remodel or a new build.

Upon meeting the owner Jim, I felt extremely comfortable and at-ease with his gentle, soft spoke nature, and decided to move forward instantly. His knowledge of the industry, building codes and county requirements was apparent immediately, and he was very thorough and quick to respond to any questions that we had! We wanted the project completed to specific point and then wanted to finish up ourselves. Jim was more than willing to accommodate our needs! His employees are great, extremely friendly, considerate and willing to let you learn as they go! They are more than happy to take the time to explain what they are doing, what is happening next and field any questions! Our project was completed on time, and within budget. With our decision to complete the finishing details ourselves, we have continued to receive support and advice from King James Construction. Even though they have completed their portion of the job, they have been more than willing to offer advice and suggestions for us as we have worked towards completion! Because of that history it was a no brainer when I wanted to have a half acre fenced in with a big electric gate at the driveway. I got three quotes, Stacey was the middle guy. I didn't mind paying a little extra because he had such knowledge and put me in a completely new direction, one that was more affective. Stacey had suggestions others hadn't mentioned and as I stated, knowledge. We had many appointments before finalizing this project. Stacey was always on time. Never leaving me hanging on, wondering where he was. He always called and touched bases shortly before our appointment. He told me how far out he was booked and gave me a guesstimate of when he and his crew would start. He was right on time. He started when he said he would. The guys that worked for him could not of been more of a joy to have around. Always picking up after them selves, never leaving a mess at the end of any day. All of the fencing was wrapped up in the timeframe he said it would be. A project I had dreaded but one Stacey and his crew made fun. He mentioned to me that it sounded like a small job and they don't do small jobs but since I lived in the same neighborhood that they would do it anyway. Again I told them that when they arrived I would show them what all needed to be done because it wasn't THAT small of a job. When I didn't hear anything from them for two weeks, I called Bend Fencing who promptly came over, gave me an estimate and I hired them right on the spot. Yesterday Redmond Fence finally called me back. They told me that they had been by the place and that the job was too small. I found that statement interesting due to the fact that I am the only one that lives here, my neighbors don't know what I wanted done here and Redmond Fence never had me come out and show them what all needed to be done. This leads me to believe that they were never here at all. I'm glad that Bend Fence likes to make money because apparently Redmond Fence has so much money they can pick their jobs they want to do. Update: In response to the owner's rebuttal. How could they have looked at what needed to be done if I never showed them to begin with? I only explained briefly over the phone what needed to be done. I then told them over the phone that they needed to let me know when they showed up. I stated to them that the reason for this is that there were several things that needed to be done and it was easier to show them rather than explain it. In the end the project was sizable including three gates and over 100 feet of fence.
