great dentist for kids , they make kids feel so welcome. love the wall decor. Super clean and great service

Absolutely horrible experience. The customer service at this dental office is disgusting. Every time I go in, it seems like there is a different dentist and different staff working there, which makes the whole experience feel completely disorganized and inconsistent. The whole place is also dirty and outdated. This place does not care who they hire, they underpay their employees which makes them not happy to be there and is probably the reason why they have an attitude towards people walking in. The service is rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic customer service. You can tell these girls just complete a 6 month dental assistant course with no course on professionalism. One particular employee at the front desk was especially unpleasant--her attitude made it very obvious that she did not want to be there and had no interest in helping patients. She was rude, loud for no reason, dismissive, and spoke to me with an attitude that was completely unacceptable. You can't miss this "female," her manly face and manly voice just made everything worse! Don't even get me started on the rest of the workers there, SO GHETTO, specially the "so-called office manger!" I thought I was at a dentist office not a circus. Oh my goodness what a joke! Patients should not have to deal with employees who act irritated simply because they have to do their jobs. It's understandable that you're mad and underpaid and hate your job BUT if you don't like working with people, don't work in a dental office where customer service actually matters! I would not recommend this dental office. The lack of professionalism, constant staff turnover, and terrible customer service make it a place I will not be returning to, THANK GOD! read more

I honestly am so sad at the service they gave us here. The dentists seem like they don't know what they are doing, my sons fillings fell out in less than a week both of the fillings ..... he's 3 years old now he can't eat cold nor hot foods or drinks his teeth are very sensitive now. First time going they said cavity was no where near the nerve then when the fillings fell out I went back and they drilled his teeth all the way down and put caps on his teeth every thing happened so quickly. Do not listen to these people . In less than a week they say the cavity was going to hit the nerve .... The dentist drilled the cavity and got closer to the nerve. His teeth are not sized to his teeth as well he had straight teeth and now has buck teeth sadly. I regret coming to Dr Mariam K specifically she was rough and was the one that drilled his whole teeth down, I can't believe she says pain free in her paragraphs she has on website. My son bleed so much , I will not be returning here ever. Dr. Chang wasn't any good, he was the reason my son cavity was drilled to almost hitting the nerve. read more

If you base your decision making on "good"reviews. Please read this one. I decided to take my daughters here, it was convenient for me as it is close to my home and hey, their reviews are great? However they're money hungry and only care to bill your insurance for things they did not do! How do I know this you ask? I decided to get a second opinion and they told me they billed my insurance for cleanings and sealants they did not do... I am happy I didn't get their "work" done here! I could only imagine the amount of scamming they would've done. They're very unprofessional to say the least. Never settle. If you feel something isn't right go somewhere else where your children matter! I can give them credit on their rooms, they're nicely decorated. What looks good on the outside isn't always good for YOU. read more

I used to be very happy with this place, but not anymore. We had a 5 PM appointment and have been waiting over 40 minutes, while people with 5:30 appointments were taken in ahead of us. I have been taking my kids here for years and we always have a good experience. The dentist is really gentle and kind and the staff is all really friendly. Sometimes the wait is a little long because they do get busy. There is a Baskin Robbins and a little boba spot in the shopping center, perfect for a little treat afterwards. read more

The Sun Valley location was good one. This was our first visit to ABC Kids Dental Group and I don't regret changing. I like the environment and the care from staff there. This place use to be good and very attentive but today I came back for an appointment mind you I called on time to cancel my appointment because I knew I wasn't going to make it because I'm commuting from Downey but the receptionist who took my call to cancel she tried to convince me to come and I kept trying to cancel finally she convinced me to come by 2pm for my children's treatment. I drove from Downey to Granada hills and we waited 50 minutes. After all the wait the receptionist comes up to us and tells us we most likely wont get anything done on my kids. I will not come back after this experience with the receptionist. It was a total waste of time!!!! read more

My son is only 4- years old. Everyone was very friendly and kind. I recommend this location for children. The physical space was beautiful. It is adequately decorated for children. The assistant who helped my child was very engaged and conversed with my son to help gain his trust. Lastly, the doctor was also very patient and skillful when checking my son's teeth. The service was great my kid was in an out in Les than an hour for their check up. The only issue I have is the dental assistants with the long nails. Yes they use gloves and wash but something about those long nails working on my kids doesn't sit right with me. I'm all for having your nails done but not long if you're working in peoples mouths especially kids. read more

Waiting room is overcrowded, kids running , jumping and screaming parents have no control over them . Staff won't say anything. Never again coming back to this place. Had a 2 pm appt . Waited 1 hour and kids that were coming in were called within 10 mins . Ask the receptionist and she told that she would check on it .Didn't hear back from her . I got up and left . read more
