They are all negative... funny how that happens.** If you want your child to be clean - this IS NOT the daycare for you. If you want your child's clothes to come home decent (or come home at all) - this IS NOT the daycare for you. (we started buying "daycare clothes" because all of our kids clothing was coming home with stains - paint, markers, food - you name it). If you want your child to have consistent teachers - this IS NOT the daycare for you. If you want to save a FEW dollars, though... then sure, this is the daycare for you. But remember - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! If you care about your child and their well-being please don't take your child here. We stayed much longer than we should have, but that was because of a couple of teachers; after 3 years and those teachers leaving it became too much to deal with... not to mention, we were "kindly" forced out. If you look at daycares in the area with the same price point - this facility is much better than the others. But let me tell you, it doesn't matter... because this daycare is not the place you want to send your kids. And I'm telling you this from the perspective that we had both of our kids in this daycare (both Mukilteo and Lynnwood) for 3 years. The director at their Mukilteo location (Nicole - not sure if she's still there though since the turnover is SO HIGH) doesn't even have a high school diploma! And she's the director? The rooms are over ratio (one of the employees loved to post things like that on her FB page); the owner actually has less staff around lunchtime because he knows not many parents will pick their kids up at that time. OVER-RATIO means kids are not being properly watched. Our kids have come home with SIGNIFICANT injuries and nobody can tell us when it happened. Well, I'm pretty sure they would have cried so you're telling me nobody consoled my child then? Also, the bathrooms are not monitored when a child has to use the facilities, so you can just imagine what happens with curious little 4/5-year-olds. Our daughter who was 4 at the time was told by the director (co-director at the time) that girls and girls are not allowed to kiss. What's wrong with this picture? 1) Kissing conversations should not be happening - and if they are then it should be NOBODY should be kissing anybody & 2) you're telling a child that happens to have two moms that?!? She came home and told us we were disgusting, which prompted a conversation with our child that i NEVER intended to have. If you have any issues the owner (Abas) will brush you off - ESPECIALLY if you are woman. He only cares about money - not about the children and it SHOWS when he hires such inexperienced "teachers" (more like babysitters). Find another place. This place isn't worth it! My first experience with daycare and I was very nervous. Everyone here has been very kind and compassionate with both my 2.5 year old and myself. center is very clean and she can't wait to go. Wow where do I start ***mukilteo location**** Well my son started 8/13. By 8/15 he was sick missed two of his three day week. Then we all got sick with a nasty respiratory and gi illness that the daycare was aware of but failed to notify me of. Went today to pick up my 14 mo old son from the waddler room where I found him "bound" to his cot with a blanket while this girl named mikayla threatened him pointing at him. When I asked her why she was treating him like that she couwered and said "I'm sorry" probably because she knew a boot to her ass was in the mail. Also on my way out grabbed his bottles out of the fridge and saw the Costco milk they were giving the kids curdled and separated! Anyhoo wanted to let any poor parent know prior to my call to the state! read more

I have been taking my two and a half yr old to the Mukilteo location for almost two years now and can't say enough great things about het experience. Thanks to the amazing ladies at ABC she is potty trained, speaks in full sentences, knows her abc's and can count to ten. Did I mention she is only two and a half!?!? The flexibility I have received from them is also something to speak about. We were given a wk off our month bill when we went on vacation as well as part time flexibility when I had my second child and was on maternity leave. She couldn't stay away... had to see her friends! I can't say thank you enough for making my little angel so smart! Keep doing what your doing, because it works! read more

My experience with this location was horrifying. The teacher (Ms Brittany)for my 23 month old daughters classroom wasn't trained and did a poor job at communicating with me and the children. I had the chance to actually sit in the classroom my daughters first day (day off) and the kids had "free time" the entire 4 hours I was there. The teacher wasn't engaged and didn't act like she liked her job. I'm nobodies expert but I believe anyone in the childcare field should Love what they do. I felt like my child was a burden to watch and it's because of that I wouldn't recommend this daycare facility. read more

Look at the "non-recommended" reviews for the truth! ABC is terrible. The turnover in my daughter's short stay there has literally been unbelievable. There are a few gems who treat the kids well, but the facility's ability to find so many other uncaring people to care for small children is quite astounding. I shuddered watching some of their interactions - lazily standing across the room looking hungover while the kids cried on the other side of the room. The only "interaction" sometimes was her loudly saying their names and telling them to stop crying while sighing loudly. Tip: maybe if you interacted with them in some way, they would be happy. They also failed to change my baby's diapers and gave her foods at a young age I specifically asked them not to, including foods she was very sensitive to and that her doctor advised she should not have. How terrifying to leave a child with serious allergies or any type of special need here! The good employees there should leave to be nannies; the rest of the poor employees and managers should leave childcare. Update - Our daughter came home from the waddler room here with a deep, serious bruise on her face one day - the worst bruise she's ever had. No one at daycare could tell me how it happened. The director hung up on me when asked what teachers she was with that day. How can a 12 month old have such little supervision that you don't know when she got hit or injured so badly? Unfortunately, this wasn't our first problem but it was the last as we never allowed her to return. This daycare is UNSAFE. Do not leave your children here, even if it's the only place open. Your child would be safer with no supervision than with these people. read more

I enrolled my son in fulltime infant daycare, average 9 hrs/day, 5 days/wk. My son was at ABC for 2 months & now at a different daycare center. Since removing him from ABC, my son is healthier and happier. Using a baby tracker app, I have data to compare before, during & after.. Prior to ABC: My son ate: 12x per day & 4x at night. He was diagnosis with Reflux causing him to eat small portions more frequently. He slept in a crib on an incline. He is generally happy and cries little. Prior to starting ABC, I discussed all this with Katherine and was assured they could accommodate his needs. Onboarding: When I called ABC for info, Katherine did not have info such as rates available. Twice she promised to call me back and never called. No one welcomed us on our first day or got us set up to use the in/out machine and the infant teacher was un-prepared as she was unaware that we would be starting. Later, Katherine tried to get us set up but the machine continuously malfunctioned and would only let us make payments. Every day Katherine promised to look into it but never did. After several weeks, the machine started working miraculously. Feeding: Staff at ABC typically offered a bottle 2x per 9 hr day and he ate on average 4-5oz of food. He had a total of 8 days where he ate 9oz and only 1 day where he ate 12oz. Because he at so little, I was stressed to come during my lunch to feed him. A 3rd bottle might be offered IF I didn't come during lunch. Ever since starting at new the NEW daycare, he eats an average of 12-15 ounces of food per day while and gets 3-4 bottles plus a lunch regardless of if I come or not. When my LO goes from eating 4-5oz per day to 12-15oz per day overnight, the difference is not the child or my pattern of coming during lunch, the difference is the daycare. Sleeping: Since he ate so little at ABC, he woke an average 8x per night to feed. Since he often napped poorly at ABC, he was often very grumpy and overtired. ABC never put him in a crib. During my lunch visits I observed that most infants did not sleep in a crib. All were placed in bouncers in a semi-circle around a chair and the caretaker would bounce them all to sleep. When we left, they had 7 infants and all but 2 slept consistently in bouncers. I also observed them using the cribs for storage. Communication: Ana spoke English very well, but most other teachers could not communicate well enough to relay information about how my child's day went, concerns or other pieces of information that are important. ABC should take more steps to compensate for language barriers. Also, my son's primary caretaker often referred to the active-children as "my little troublemakers". There are 3 incidents I felt exemplified our experience. 1. On 3/1, I arrived during lunch & could hear an infant screaming from outside the facility. I walked past 2 staff members chit-chatting unconcerned, went to the infant room & found my son on the floor crying hysterically from hunger. The caretaker was changing another baby's diaper. When asked why he hasn't been fed recently, the caretaker said, "I have other babies to take care of." The became a very common response from ABC. 2. On 3/30/18 - I arrived during lunch to find my son was fussing as he was being put down flat in a crib with a poopy diaper on an empty stomach. The caretaker did not speak English. As a result, I could not communicate with her to tell her to tell her that he had doctor's orders to sleep on an incline. So I pointed to what he should be using and she responded with "no". I then found him poopy and the caretaker was unaware his diaper was soiled. After I changed him, I found he had not been fed in several hours. Unable to communicate, I went to speak with Katherine to complain. For this, they said that I made the caretaker cry and the director was very hostile towards me from then on out. 3. ABC restrains children (such as in an Exersaucer or booster seat) as a way of entertaining children for long periods of time and as a way of separating the older children from the younger children. On 2 separate occasions, I had to separate another baby from my child. The other infant walked over to the exersaucer, and was pulling my son's hair. As a result of long hours in the exersaucer, my son would go into hysterics at home if we tried to put him in a play pen. He began to associate being set down with being abandoned and ignored. Parting Ways: Due to my son doing so poorly at ABC and my continued concerns and frustrations, I was required to obtain a doctor's plan of care for what amounted to routine and normal infant care in order to keep him at their center. Katherine advised that they were not able to provide the level of care he needed. Even though Katherine asked us to leave, she still required us to pay for 2 weeks of care that we did not receive citing that '2 weeks notice' was required. After ABC: My son has greatly improved. I wish I had left sooner. read more

I would highly advise any parent to seriously think twice about taking their child to this location. When I first started taking my daughter here about a year and half ago, there was a great promise of a "caring and loving environment", that "nurtured the kids, and worked with the parents to ensure a great experience all around". BS! And of course the "Director" at the time who sold me this crock was eventually let go for embezzlement at a secondary location. So you see what kind of people we are dealing with here. Communication is NOT an asset that anyone in this facility recognizes. My daughter has had a new "teacher" for almost 2 months, and I still don't have a clue who she is, what her name is, what her background is...NOTHING. There is never any communication about any of the changes that are taking place. The Pre-K class has no class direction, no pre planned studies....NOTHING. The turnover at this facility is beyond belief. There are only two out of about 8 different teachers that have been there since I started bringing my daughter to the facility. Everyone else has been replaced 2 to 3 times in the last year and a half. This does NOT make for the "caring and loving environment" when the faces and names keep changing. The owner, Abas, is rude and maybe the worst business man I have ever had the displeasure of meeting in my life. He refuses to listen to the parents, especially the ones he is not found of. I have brought several issues to him in the past and he dismisses me or will relay the "tough to handle issue" to his director Toni, who honestly couldn't handle her way out of a wet paper sack. I am thoroughly disgusted with this facility, and I will ensure that I take my disgust to other review forums outside of this one to ensure that any truly informed parent has the opportunity to make a truly valuable decision...AND NOT TAKE THEIR CHILD TO THIS LOCATION! read more

Do not bring your kids to ABC (any location)!! Wow where do I start, I was an employee here and was forced to quit because I had missed so much work from getting sick at their facility. They had hand ,foot ,mouth going around and told staff members to only tell parents if they were concerned about their child getting sick. Because I worked with so many children with the disease I got a nasty respiratory infection and double ear infection. I was very conatigous and refused to expose any more children to this. I was required to bring in a note for each day I had missed or I would be dismissed from my title. The director told me "sad, I was going to make you a lead now you will have to be put on sub status" after I went to the walk in every day for the week and a half I was sick, for these notes that they insisted they needed for proof. The staff plays favorites(to staff members and children). I was always over ratio(21 kids alone for 4 hours one day), never consistently in the classroom I was hired on for. Toys arent sanitized often, nap mats were rarely cleaned. The playground is very hazardous. Most of the food was expried. Director was rarely around. There was hardly ever any one I could direct parents to about comments and concerns. Not to mention the owner is a complete jerk. Interacts with the kids in such a creepy manner making them feel uncomfortable. Hides fire hazards(like baby gates in front of doors) when the fire department came for an inspection. Staff is underpaid and when I looked for a new job they bad mouthed ME to my new employer who didnt even ask questions about me, only called to verify employment. All in all this whole company is unprofessional, unsafe,petty and should be shut down entirely. I made multiple calls to the state about them and I know a handful of parents when I worked there did the same before unenrolling their children. Please if you care about the healthy and the education you provide to your children, do not enroll them at ABC. read more

Mill Creek/Seattle Hill Road location: We started our 2yr old here in Feb '16. They START off well, with reports home about your child's day and taking care of them well. But now the reality: The boss who owns the place (name is Abos) is flat out a cheap crook. He doesn't want to properly equip the location, the rooms are mostly bare and there is not enough furniture for all the kids. Toni says oh we like the kids' artwork to decorate the place, but they have TONS of kids here and the place should be literally covered in artwork and it's not. There is just a few things up. They have to shift them around a lot because there hasn't been enough teachers either. The teachers are mostly untrained and the newer one in the toddler room (new since last week) is combative and doesn't stay in the room with the kids. Yesterday when I picked up my son I was in there 5-7 mins until one kid punched my kid and another and she didn't come to the room til she heard me telling the boy that he was not supposed to be hitting the other kids. They are hiring people with less experience to pay them lower, because Abos is greedy and doesn't invest in his employees or businesses. Since our son had been there we have had multiple sicknesses, the worst being the foot, mouth, hand virus that they KNEW about-they had a teacher who had pus filled sores on her hands and two kids who were ill and they STILL didn't warn anyone. I caught it and was in absolute misery, missing three weeks of work and having my toddler at home (which they wouldn't allow credit for saying it was holding his spot even tho it was their fault that caused the issue) instead of daycare. They have woken him up from a nap several times saying he has a fever and has to be picked up when he's not had a fever, but just been very warm (he's naturally pretty warm blooded). They have sent him home several times if they feel his poop is "too runny" and once home there is zero sign of issue. They can't keep track of the kids' belongings, several times we have had to go through the "extra clothes" to find our son's things and they lost his brand new jacket the second day he wore it. Turns out someone put it in the bigger kids' room and they figured it wasn't his, rather than asking us if that was the missing jacket. He needed it over the weekend and we had to scramble to find stuff that would work for a few days (he needed it for a specific event) because they are negligent. At first we were given daily reports going over how many times diapers were changed, what foods were offered, what the overall mood of the day was and that stopped once they got real low on staff. It's been months since I have had such a report. If I ask in the afternoon, the teachers generally don't know how things are going for the day as they keep shifting them around and shifting the groups of kids around. Now to the meaty issue: This morning, as I attempted to drop off my son at 540am, I was told by the morning teacher that Abos had told her yesterday that my son could not stay. YESTERDAY. I was not told until this morning, when I was needing to get to work by 6am. Now THAT is seriously unprofessional behavior on his part. Not only did he purposely set up to cause me issue with getting to work today but he sent someone else to do his dirty work. THAT is who the owner is, he's a crook and a cheat and he cannot be trusted to keep his own word. He is not honorable at all. I had already informed him that we needed to switch paying from my pay week to my husband's pay week and he agreed that would be acceptable until we could catch up with everything, as I was out of work for June/July this year due to emergency surgery. We have been paying him "a week late" since then because we needed to switch to the next pay week. And today I'm told that my son cannot stay if we do not make a payment, when the amount due was only due last Friday and I already had an agreement from the owner that I could pay this coming Friday. I have communicated with him throughout the summer about being out of work and I have been making payments and rather than be a professional businessman and keep his word he purposely tries to derail the day and harm my work by refusing him entry this morning instead of saying something yesterday. If there was an issue with our paying this coming Friday instead of last Friday, as we agreed upon when we last spoke, then he should have talked to me himself yesterday or whenever he got butthurt over the situation! He should not have sent his morning gal to do his dirty work for him. If you can take your kids elsewhere, do so. This place is not good for them. The few good people they have just don't make up for how horrible everything else is. They are more expensive than other local places, they are less attentive to the kids, they do not have trained teachers, they do not teach them anything...the only reason it's called a "learning center" is so he can charge more by calling it "tuition". read more

This is the worst place to leave your child. The place is a dump. Yes it's under remodel but it's still a dump. The location is in the ghetto! The owner yells at his employees and makes them cry! He only cares about money and not the well being of the children. I took my daughter there and after her first day she was sick with the flu. After recovering from that she came home with pink eye. The teachers have no clue what they are doing and are not teachers. I had an issue and brought it to the attention of the owner Abbas. He blew me off and told me to take my concern to the director. The director was very caring and immediately addressed my concern. She is the only one who cared about my child. The owner then slapped on a late fee to my account when I told him I would pay 5 days late and he said that was ok. He's the worst business man I have ever met. His main goal is money! Don't take your child to this location! Not to mention the front doors don't even lock. Anyone could just walk in. If you want your child to be safe and happy this place is not for you! read more

The place is disgusting and horrible, Ive never seen something worse in my life. The owner is very rude and only cares about money. He is very nasty to all his employees. All you see is teachers going in and out of there because of how horrible the business is and thats not healthy for your child to get attached to someone and then get them pulled away from them. I brought my child here for a little while about a year ago and he was always sick. Every time I would pick him up early all the teachers would be over ratio and the classroom my child was in had children that were two years older than him. It is not a safe and healthy place to bring your child! even the location of the building is in a strip mall and there is no security on the doors,anyone can just walk into the building! This is an UNSAFE place to send your children. The facility is dirty and unsanitary. Children are shuffled around from room to room with complete disregard to age and safety. There is no way a child can "grow and thrive" if they are never in the same classroom, never following a curriculum, and treated like a dollar bill instead of a child. The staff turnover here is unbelievable. In the very very short time my son attended this school, I saw at least 6 teachers fired and hired. It is very sad that the few teachers who seemed the care have left the school. I would leave too if I had to work with such miserable management. My son was constantly confused about where his teachers went, and told me every day he did not want to go to school and hated ABC. It is easy to tell that corners are constantly cut, the cheapest route is always taken, and the well being of children is the last priority. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. I do not know how this day care is still in business. It needs to be investigated. I felt sick to my stomach sending my child here. read more
