My family has used GoWay travel agency for several years now. We use them only for international…read moretravel as we feel they can obtain better results much quicker than we can with better cost efficiency! They use destination specialists for countless different countries! We've traveled to nearly 20 different countries in less than 7 years and typically have had few to NO issues with anything arranged through GoWay. Then most common issues we've experienced have been due to Mother Nature not cooperating on the specific days we had outdoor excursions booked. However, that's nothing that the travel agency could have controlled. Each specialist that has been assigned to us has always been well organized, thorough, knowledgeable, communicative and timely! Even if our assigned specialist is on sabbatical, we have always been temporarily assigned to someone else to cover any of our questions in the event of a random issue or accidental mishap. We, WITHOUT QUESTION, highly recommend this travel agency! Can't wait to plan our next vacation with them!!!

They selected a well known, unreliable, unsafe airline, Precision Airways. Our flight to Zanzibar was cancelled twice. We were supposed to fly at 2:45 pm and ultimately ended up on an 11:40 pm flight, which was then delayed until 1:30 am. We saw our plane land,de-board, then immediately put us all on the plane with 0 safety checks. They also overbooked the flight and sat 2 passengers in the flight attendant seats. On the plane, it was incredibly hot, tray tables were broken, as well as the bathroom door. Once we landed, they had lost my sisters luggage. We spent our entire time in Zanzibar trying to get her luggage back, which we finally did with no help from Goway. Another passenger had mentioned her flight was cancelled 6 times with Precison on her way to Tanzania. Very disappointed in them putting us on an airline well know for doing things like this, with no warning. And the lack of support was appalling.

Travel cuts was staffed by some older people but friendly nonetheless. They have a great clientele in the student body, from people planning travel for exchange to people doing their graduation trips to people planning their trips back home for breaks or summer. It's very useful for students and I believe really caters to students. From getting your ISIC card (discount card internationally for students) to rail passes and other student specific items, they really can help you prep for and save on a trip abroad. While I know that I could do much of the booking on my own, there is something to be said about a service that does the prepping and searching that goes into a trip. And as a student you probably shouldn't be surfing the net looking at travel deals instead of studying for that big midterm. Overall an a-ok because at the end of the day, you can still get the deals etc on line.
