BEWARE!! UNLICENSED!…read moreMr Larkin gave me the quote below for my home. I clarified some items with him and he raised the price for the ceiling popcorn removal and skim coat on the walls to $6200 from $3200. He hired another company called Supreme Drywall who came in and basically destroyed my house. They did not prep or protect any of my belongings and they did not do a good job skim coating the walls. Mr Larkins was told to clean up all the mess before he started painting and instead he just painted over all the splotches of compound that were stuck on my brand new wood molding along my new wood floors. Splotches of compound were all over my windows, appliances, cabinets, front porch-everywhere. Mr Larkins attempted to have me pay in full for this shabby work, but I asked him to complete the job properly before I gave him his final payment. He returned and half heartedly cleaned up some of the mess. When I reviewed his work again he became insolent and denied there a was problem with anything in spite of showing him all the work still needing to be done properly. He said he would return and never did. Unfortunately, I did not do an investigation prior to hiring him and relied on google reviews. BIG MISTAKE!! He is unlicensed and his brother was arrested for this last year. I will be filing a complaint with the Pinellas County Consumer Protection agency against him and Supreme Drywall.
