Annet is a fabulous wedding photographer and here's why: 1. She is superfast with processing our pictures. In my opinion, after a wedding, the thing you most look forward to, besides the honeymoon and opening the presents, is looking at wedding photos. Immediately after the wedding she presented us with a beautiful slideshow of pics from our wedding and our wedding pics followed soon after. 2. She goes out of her way to get to know her clients and her location. My husband and I deeply appreciated the fact that Annet really wanted to understand what would work best for us in terms of wedding pictures. She demonstrates this through a walk-through of our location (both reception and church and post-wedding brunch) well before the day of the wedding, as well as multiple phone calls and visits to my office. 3. She is fun and personable! Several of my guests commented that Shang "definitely has the personality a photographer should have." That is, she is able to make her subjects feel instantly comfortable, on and off the camera. 4. She is flexible. Everyone knows weddings never run on schedule and she just went with it and did her best to make us feel relaxed despite the time crunch. 5. She is a true artist. Her pictures and eye for great photos is unparalleled. Her pictures captured the joy and love we felt that day perfectly. Admittedly, there were a few poses Annet suggested during the portrait session that I was a bit skeptical of, but of course, these very pictures are among my favorites. We feel lucky to have found Annet while planning our wedding, and she has our highest recommendations. We would give her 6 stars if we could!

Arnau is a wonderful photographer and a sincere person who we enjoyed working with very much…read more The bulk of the portfolios I looked through were either technically great staged photos with few candids or full of great candid moments that were unfortunately out-of-focus or poorly lit. Arnau was referred to us by our wedding planner, Genevieve Rojas of Lily Spruce, and I was I was impressed that his portfolio demonstrated BOTH technical skills as well as an eye for noticing candid moments worth capturing. Arnau is a lovely person who we enjoyed having around (pretty important) and most importantly: we were very happy with the hundreds of beautiful photos he captured of our day. A friend of mine was married a month earlier and we were disappointed by how much her photographer aggressively butt herself into special moments - killing the intimacy in order to capture the moment. In contrast, Arnau blended himself into the scene seamlessly - capturing great moments, often times up close, while still somehow blending in the background. It allowed us to enjoy our time with friends and family without feeling self conscious or interrupted. When it came time for portraits, he directed my massive family patiently and with expertise, getting great shots. Arnau mentioned that he wanted to pull us away from our dinner for a 45 min couples shoot during the "golden hour". We were reluctant to leave our party for so long, but we trusted his guidance and I'm so glad we did. I will let the photos speak for themselves.. PS: Turn around was as promised, 4-8 weeks after our wedding. He created a lovely online viewing folder that we downloaded from easily.

So far we have been beyond impressed with the quality, professionalism and passion he brings to his work. For our engagement session he came up with the idea to do a rustic shoot in the hills overlooking San Jose, which ended up being a very fun adventure. Arnau made us feel so comfortable and the experience was so enjoyable that we hardly even realized we had been taking pictures all day. The results were incredible... so much art and love is reflected in each shot that we were really blown away - as were our friends and family. He has such a wonderful eye for artistic, unique shots that far surpass what I have seen in other portfolios. Initially I received the photos only. After I reminded them that virtual tour was missing, they made it and sent me the virtual tour link. Now I asked them where the panoramas are. They told me the feature wasn't ordered. There is an additional charge if they come back. Since I always ordered the default feature which includes panoramas, it makes me believe their online order system has some issue. I would recommend either call them or email them to place order. Online order doesn't get any confirmation.
