I was admitted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Ward 42 as a day patient for a small operation on the 17th October.
I have to write to say how attentive, caring and empathetic all the medical and attending staff were.
It made my stay in hospital very comforting and reassuring.
The anaesthesia medical staff put me at ease and I could see I was in competent hands before and after the operation. Another staff nurse attended to me in recovery and alleviated my pain which I was very grateful to her for. Unfortunately in my post operative state I could not read her name badge !
Once I returned to the ward, staff nurse Louisa Pirie looked after me until I was discharged and I have to say a very special thanks to her, she was so kind and caring.
I hope that this commendation can be passed on to the staff concerned as people can be very quick to complain but not so quick to compliment and it is so important that they know that they do a wondeful job.
