However, I signed the contract with Albert, the salesman/project manager, for white GAF materials, but then he later called saying GAF white was not available, and that he had changed it to Owens Corning Shasta White (without mentioning that GAF warranty was 50 yrs, O/C was 10; why would anyone choose 10 yrs rather than 50?) 5-26 Roof installed; all went beautifully. 6-25 I texted requesting roof warranty since I am listing my home & realtor must have it. 6-25 text: Ok, Susie, I'll be sure to send over to you :) 6-27 text: I desperately need it. Have to get my disclosures in asap. Also indicate if transferrable PLEASE." & your ROC#, "also is it energy star?" 6-27 Albert text: "OK, I'll call you tomorrow morning." We were referred to Juan and Xtreme Roofing. Juan came promptly, surveyed the damage, and provided an estimate (insurance did not pay for the roof, but they were great at covering the interior work). Not only was the estimate reasonable--as well as the final cost--but the work was done efficiently and on schedule. The insurance company then spent some time flying a drone over the finished work to verify satisfactory completion. (Some of the problems resulted from an improper installation of a plumbing drain vent [no flashing was used] during the original construction--26 years ago; other issues were simply age related in conjunction with poor drainage design.) We plan to have them come regularly to make sure everything remains waterproof and in good repair--we do not want to go through the destruction and renovation process again.

Jeremy, the owner, came out and gave a recommendation, which included a diverter and roof maintenance. Cody, an employee for Hahn, subsequently came out and found the source of leaking into the brick wall. He fixed that promptly. He also did maintenance for my entire roof, and caulked and fixed other aspects of my metal roof. He's extremely capable. Despite this, because again the way my roof drained, there was water coming over my flashing and hitting my window. At this point, a gutter recommendation was given. After the gutters were installed, there hasn't been any problem whatsoever. I will give a separate review of the gutters (On The Edge Gutters). I highly recommend Hahn's roofing.
