MHC quote was high ($11,781), but Costco stood behind MHC (I thought). MHC said that the job would take two weeks; it took six weeks. That is when I hired a handyman to finish the job. When I asked for a copy of the warranty on the flooring that MHC recommend and installed, MHC told me that the warranty was void because the property is a rental. MHC scammed me. Do not do business with MHC.

When they came to remove existing carpet had guys who had never done it before, was told laminate would be done by 4 p.m. and guys were leaving at 7:30 pm, did not put 1/4 round on had to do it myself. Glue used to secure transition pieces was cheap and after one year of having laminate floor transition pieces are loose and planks have spacing between them. Would not recommend to anyone. Lesson learned.
