4 stars to Elise very friendly great follow up, told her what we were considering, she said let me find something comparable. Alice the manager wrote me with a comparison, said great we will be in to match up the two. But when we arrived the next day both Elise and Alice were not there at the store. The young lady we spoke to said she knew we might be stopping in, but she was more pools and knew nothing about the hottub. Our family was in the market for our first hot tub. I went to a few spots in town and had not even put this one on my list bc of the reviews. I wasn't blown away by the other places customer service so I stopped in anyway bc it was on my way to work and I'm glad I did. I was met quickly upon walking in by Alice. She showed me the options they had in stock as I didn't want to wait to order one and gave me great information and prices to bring back to my husband. During the few days of researching she was extremely responsive through texting and email to continue to answer all my questions. She was honest and never pushy to make a sale. She understood our budget and helped us stick to it. We are very excited to get our new Harmony Spa next week and so glad we chose Able Pools and spas! read more

Looked up the reviews, gave them the benefit of a doubt, however, don't be surprised when you walk in to this place and the staff is absolutely Rude, don't even know what a Hayward pool pump lid is and treats customers like a zero to the left. WARNING! ABLE does not stand behind their customers and their contractors do not stand behind their work. They took my recently widowed mother for $16,000.00. The water table rose, they had to bring up the floor a foot or so... After 4 months and $16,000.00 later my mother swam in the pool once when it started to leak. My review previously posted was for Able pools in Wilmington NC. I am sorry for the confusion. Buyer BEWARE! Do not choose Able Pools in Wilmington NC! This is the first time we have ever installed a pool and if you are looking for an honest pool company with open communication, ABLE IS NOT FOR YOU! As to not muddy the waters with personal feelings, I will only talk about the facts. Our pool started on August 19, 2019 and it is now November 27, 2019 and our pool is not completed and we have FAILED MULTIPLE COUNTY INSPECTIONS! Unfortunately, I did not listen to my gut and we paid our last draw on the pool and not a thing has been done since! We actually had to clean the pool ourselves by reading online tutorials. Kinda shitty way of treating customers that just spent 57k with you company. So now we have invested 57k and we are still without a final inspection, our pool still has the foam separating the tile from the cement where caulking should be and the tile is not sealed at the waterline. Worst of all the company will not call is back. We call, leave messages, email and nothing! To make things worse, the county inspector failing us is a neighbor of the owner Able Pool! So not just a bad businessman but a shitty neighbor! So we remain 57k in the HOLE and in limbo with no word on the county inspection which we FAILED and no word on when they plan to finish the pool. Honestly, in the past month the only thing we have received from Able Pools is a bill for additional upgrades. My pool can not even pass county inspection, WHY WOULD I PAY THEM a couple hundred dollars before my pool is actually county legal and completed! On the bright side, my neighbors used Ocean Blue Pools and in two weeks the progress made is astonishing! THEIR POOL WILL be done probably way before ours! Their pool is as large as ours however includes a hot tub as well as custom tiling! Lesson learned! Again BUYERS BEWARE!!! Able put our pool in because of a connection with our builder...we did not choose them. They did a poor job on concrete surround and there is a "bulge" on one of our long walls. Chunks of concrete hardened on pool floor at setup, coping was poorly done and layer of concrete was thin on surround (we could see through in many areas). We tried to have issues fixed within the one year following moving in but Able takes FOREVER to send anyone to address issues. When they do, it's not someone that can fix the problem. They come look and go back to tell someone else who doesn't follow up. Recently, we had an issue with our salt water cell. Called them to get on schedule. Have called back for about 8 weeks and at last call were still trying to "get us on their schedule". They never call us. Status calls are always generated by us. We've found someone else to help us and won't be calling Able again. read more

Do not purchase a hot tub here. Customer service is awful. If you have any issue whatsoever with your hot tub be prepared to wait months for it to be resolved. read more
