I finished this class much faster than I expected, and it ended up being perfect for my schedule. I'm an EMT, and I communicated with Albert both by phone and email throughout the process. He responds quickly and is genuinely willing to answer any questions. I was hesitant at first because of the parking situation, the price (WOW SO AFFORDABLE?!), and the location, but the program is on the state-approved list. After the class ended on the last day, we were given the exam links right away and were able to test without delays. Albert knows phlebotomy inside and out, and he teaches in a very compressed, straightforward way. Since I'm already in the medical field, a lot of the material felt familiar, and many of my classmates also had prior medical experience. What I appreciated most is that Albert wastes no time--he's very goal-oriented and focused on getting you trained, certified, and ready to move forward. You could tell he wants you to succeed! At first going into the parking lot I thought it was a scam and too good to be true. Let me tell you I was wrong !! Not only is it affordable it's a great way to start a career in the medical field. As I finish the Phlebotomy Program I really enjoyed taking this course, it was really amazing and affordable, Albert the instructor really helped me out, not only was he patient he made sure I was prepared for the test and what to expect once finishing the program. In the little time of being in class I got to know Albert and he loves his job, he loves teaching it to others, especially to those that really show interest. PLEASE take into mind that Albert is one person and has multiple students so be kind and patient as he is to his students. If something is bugging you about the clinicals or about anything program related you let him know he always finds a solution!! Yes, many think 2 weeks is impossible but if you put your mind and heart to it anything is possible. Albert helped me comprehend what it's really like as a phlebotomist, my mind you I was shocked (In a good way). Growing up I thought it was just a role of blood and urine samples, there's more to it and learning that was what got me hooked into becoming a phlebotomist and getting into the medical field. Just finished my class this past weekend, a total of 2 weeks to complete the whole course! I don't have any experience in the medical field and couldn't have asked for a better introduction to it. Albert does a very poor job as an instructor. He has zero patience and does not like questions. He encourages everyone to cheat on the national exam because his percentage of students passing the exam is so low. Once you are done with the course, it is very difficult to get a hold of him. Many classmates can agree. And it looks like he has many similar reviews. I've noticed every negative review he gets, he responds with "Thank you for sharing your feedback... However, we were unable to locate any records of your attendance at our school." What a poor excuse of an instructor. read more

To Albert's response: Don't try to look professional here, because that is one thing you are not. You are a liar, unprofessional, and lazy. There is a reason this course cost so little here. The instructor, Albert, is not good. Sure it's an accelerated course, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to ask questions or ask if he can go over a subject again. Albert goes through the material too fast with no actual intention of teaching. He quickly gets annoyed with "irrelevant questions" we would ask him. Albert would always say "no questions for now, we are very short on time" but at the same time always get dismissed an hour early. His silicone training arms to practice drawing blood are ripped and not functional. On the last day of the course he told us to cheat on the NHA Phlebotomy exam. It sounds like he doesn't have a good standing with local clinics he sends his students to, I can see why. I asked Albert if I can do my clinicals at the hospital I work at. At first he was all for it, when I followed up with him for the status on it over a month later he got annoyed, said he is not obligated to do that(after he offered it to the whole class) and eventually said he will cancel it and not do it. So now I'm here wondering what to do next since he doesn't answer my phone calls. Do not waste your time and money here. Sure it's cheap, but you get what you pay for. You will regret it. He also called me about a week after the course was done to ask if I can write hime a good review in exchange he will pay my exam fee. So I wouldn't trust any good review here. read more

Amazing experience, Albert helped me grasp the concepts of phlebotomy all within a week and showed his own techniques that were helpful when finding and venipuncturing a vein. First, I want to say it was a little hard to find, but once I did, it was all uphill from there. The classroom was clean and organized. I took the 1 week Accelerated course, I passed my NHA test first try and was able to finish clinical and apply to be licensed all within about a month. Albert (instructor) was clear and thorough in regard to outlining the expectations for the course and what is required of the students. Expect to put in at least 2 hours of studying a night and go in to it with a good attitude and willingness to step out of your comfort zone you will do awesome. The clinical lab was helpful and they were beyond willing to accommodate my needs and answered any questions I had. When I signed up for ABO at first I did it because I wanted to quickly get my phlebotomy license since they offer quick courses. I wasn't sure of the school but I just wanted to quickly get licensed. After the first few days my hesitation quickly went away. The professor Albert was very very helpful and took the time to explain everything. I assumed that it would be like every other school where I would have to teach myself the subject but it was the opposite here. He was incredibly patient and thorough with his explanations. THIS SCHOOL IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL it wasted my time and money there is no way i was able to learn all the knowledge i need to know to become a phlebotomist in 2 weeks . Albert would come late for lectures and i find that more unprofessional with the little time we already have to learn everything. I took a 2 weeks phlebotomy class and for me was an amazing experience. Instructor is very knowledgeable and thorough . Albert always advised that class was easy but we needed to give it time at least an hour after class to study and go over our notes to do good. Class lecture was easy to understand thanks to Albert. He fitted lecture and practice and made it easy to understand because we all came from different backgrounds, little or no experience, and some people were in the medical field already. Albert was very encouraging and willing to take time for his students with questions and/or needed clarification/assistance with the lecture and practice since our class was big ( (15 students). Our class was from 6-10 pm Monday though Friday . Albert always encouraged/recommended to take the exam as soon as possible after the class because information is fresh and easy to remember . The other thing about the class, it was a very good price compared to other phlebotomy courses in the area. I will recommend the course to anyone interested. read more

I made a google review and he deleted it. Mr.Albert is very unorganized. One week course was something i thought i wanted but i know now it's impossible to learn so much info in one week. Albert never quizzed us to see our skill and how fast we were learning. He simply made us read and told us what will be on the exam rather than actually learning about Phlebotomy. He will send you to clinic without giving you the paperwork you need. He made staff at clinic fill out the paperwork that i needed even though Albert said he'd drop it off, which i found wrong because it's not their responsibility and they have a lot of work to do. Once you're done with clinic/class he won't respond to emails or calls for any further steps. He lied and said I would get 50 draws and 40 hours but I didn't. The clinic manager said if I do three good draws I can finish in three days which I find wrong but I stayed quiet until I found out the manager was saying that to every extern . He says his students can be placed in an hospital , urgent care , or clinic but all his students get sent to the same place. Other externs expressed to me their real feelings towards Albert . His mannequin hand did not prepare me for clinic it was all ripped apart and unprofessional to learn with. He tells everyone he has a promotion to make you think you got the best price but it's not true. He's cheap and he seems to be hiding something since he gets so nervous all the time DONT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. He's nice to you for the money after class he doesn't wanna hear from you. read more
