About Feet Podiatry Center is a classy operation. It is very clean and well kept. They have tremendous staff ready and willing to answer questions, and their doctors are top notch. I'm 79 years old and having trouble cutting my toenails. I decided it was time to let podiatrist do it. I made an appointment at All about feet. The doctor came in, introduced himself and began cutting my toenails while talking about operating on several toes when he cut my toe! He stopped the bleeding with a gauze pad. While sitting in the waiting room for my appointment, I listened to the office staff discussing the memorial service for Charlie Kirk that occurred the day before. The things they said were the most hateful things I've ever heard. This will be my last visit here. I don't care what side you're on politically. To not have empathy and at least feel bad for anyone who lost their life and leave a wife and 2 young children are just plain evil. Without sounding overly dramatic I felt like I had been healed. I have not been able to walk without the most incredible foot pain in literally years. I have been to two other podiatrist one of which I went to every six weeks so he could shave the corn on my pinky toe. One visit, one minor little surgery and I am walking without pain. They are not interested in the care and monitoring of the patient. A week ago I went and they told me to take a medicine for which they never sent a prescription for CVS. I called them and they still didn't send it to me. I called to cancel the appointment and they didn't even ask the reason. very poor staff and the doctor only showed that he doesn't care about his patients read more

If I could give zero, I will. I had a small procedure, a small corn on my little toe, doctor took the hard skin off, they suggested you need to do X-ray. No one tell you how they gonna charge you, the next min, I got the bill for almost $200!! They also billed my insurance. Guys, watch out before you agree to do anything. Please do your research before using these two doctors. This is a dangerous practice. They're hacks doing surgeries that should never be done outside of a hospital. I wish I'd never put my trust in them, i ended up losing part of my foot to amputation. It took more than eight procedures within two corrective surgeries by a top orthopaedic foot specialist to clean up the mess they made of my foot and my life. I'm healing and learning to live with what I have left since the amputation. I trusted them, they ignored my complaints of pain and lied about making mistakes, leaving me with permanent injury. I have been a patient of About Feet Podiatry for many years and have always had excellent care from all of the Doctors. From routine nail care (I am diabetic,) ingrown toenails, injections for heel spurs, fractured toes, and surgeries for spurs - I would never trust another practice. The wait time is minimal, scheduling is a breeze, the staff is friendly, the office is beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean! I highly recommend them to my family and friends. Staff was friendly. Dr. McHugh was great. Paoli hospital told me I had a fractured foot. Dr. McHugh looked at the x-rays and told me he didn't think it was broken. He checked it out, turns out it wasn't broken. I'd go back to About Feet any time. They were also great in working with my schedule, as I had to move appointments a couple of times due to work. read more

I was nervous to go to a podiatrist as I had never been to one before. I was at ease right away. The office was clean and the receptionist was friendly. I had stubborn plantar warts and all of the staff listened to my concern and took it seriously. They clearly explained the procedure and everyone was so personable. They removed my warts in a clean room and told me what they were doing step by step. I am so glad I went here! read more

I agree withthe previous review. I also believe that they have been charging my insurance company exorbitant amounts. I was misdiagnosed and told by the owner of the practice that I needed to wear a surgical boot/shoe for a month. I was still having pain and decided to go to an Orthopedist for a second opinion. He was able to correctly diagnose me at the first appointment and said that I did not need to wear the surgigal shoe, and that my foot was not broken or fractured and I never needed to wear the shoe in the first place! read more

I have visited About Feet twice now in the last two years. This is a great place and the staff could not do enough to make my visit as comfortable as possible. They we on schedule and once I was win the examination room they gave me updates about how long it would before the doctor would come in to see me. Dr Hearn is outstanding, tells you what is going on and takes all the time you need to comprehend the issue and the treatment....I can't say enough good things about this practice. read more

One star because I can't give zero. My daughter had an absolutely terrible experience there. She went in for an infected in-grown toe nail when her normal podiatrist was unavailable. The doctor kept pushing to treat it by chemically "burning" the side of the nail so it couldn't grow back. She didn't want this procedure since she only had this issue twice before, and each time it was several years between incidents. Only after multiple tries to convince her otherwise did the doctor agree to cut the nail and correct the problem. Instead of numbing the toe and trimming down the side, he barely clipped a corner. Result? The toe remained infected and inflamed. In addition, when she told him of her latex allergy, he actually asked, indignantly, "What type of bandage should I use then?" Do they not cover latex allergies in med school? It was clear that the doctor wanted to do the chemical procedure so he could charge our insurance more, and that he is so poorly trained that he doesn't know how to deal with a patient that has a latex allergy. Instead he left my daughter with an ongoing infection and in pain that had to be treated by her regular podiatrist. Never go there again. read more

I would like to alert all patients about hidden charges. The doctors here use surgery codes for something as simple as putting an antiviral lotion on a wart. The code allows them to extract maximum money and they don't care if it comes from your pocket or the insurance. Beware if your insurance is set up to have you copay large deductibles for surgery. You will be shocked to see a bill for $300 if your deductible is greater than that. We begged Dr. Piskorski to change the code as he agreed that he had not performed any surgery and just used the surgery code. However, he said that it would be too much paperwork. At the end of the day we had to pay the bill as we got cheated by the fraudulent practice at this center. Before getting treatment just make sure you ask about his charge codes or better yet, just go elsewhere. read more

All in all, my experience with About Feet has been very good. Appointments were all fairly quick and easy, with little wait time. Facility is clean, front desk and most of clinical staff are super friendly and helpful, and they handled all of the insurance processing for me, with no hidden costs. (From reading other reviews here before my initial visit that complained about exorbitant fees and out of pocket expenses, I was prepared and let them know initially that I would be on top of things, so perhaps that helped? I am definitely one to ask questions and get things straight from the start. I always want to know exactly what is covered and what is not, so there are no surprises. I have worked in the medical field for years, and have seen so many patients that do not ask questions, seek second opinions, etc... and yes, I have also seen many docs that quickly take advantage of those patients. So that would be my advice to anyone reading this.... just ask questions and know what to expect before proceeding wth any treatment. Get a second opinion, and ask for ALL treatment options before making a decision. You are your best advocate! read more

I first went to about feet back in 2000/2001 for pain I had in my right ankle after a motorcycle accident. At that time Dr. Mchugh was working there and then took it over. He talked to me about my pain (I was 15 at the time) and not my parents like the other Dr I went to. Dr. Mchugh asked what happened and how another doctor had treated my ankle. The only promise he gave me was He was going to take some pain away with surgery. The damage was already done! Had I have went to him in the first place I would have probably been back to 90% that's my take. He was right after recovery my pain was down 80%. I had my ankle fused. Still had up and down motion but not side to side as if you were walking on a hill. Both my parents go to him and my mother told me he doesn't run the practice any more but still works there. All the other doctors were great there but I mostly had him as a doctor. He did the surgery. The follow ups with him were great! He always asked if I had any questions and would explain everything very well and with detail and was very easy to talk to. He has this thing about him that when he talked to you he wanted to help you and make you feel better. I hope he stays there because he's a great doctor and cares about what he does! read more

Spent more time in waiting room than seeing the Dr. Told them about feet and ankle pain that I have been having. The pain lasts about 2 days and I cannot put any weight on them. When I went there the pain was gone so the Dr. said he was going to give me an injection in my foot and to come back in a week to see if I needed another one. I didn't have the pain at the time so I didn't know if the injection worked. Went back a week later and he told me that the injection is a four part process and he recommends to his patients to attleast get a second one because you can have up to 4. Reminded him that the pain also occurred in my ankle sometimes. He said that I can get a ankle sock at cvs for it and then remembered he had one he could give me. Was never going to wear it because I don't know when the pain will come back and when it does it is pointless anyway because I am unable to put weight on it. Then the bill comes, charged my provider 900$ for 2 meetings that lasted 30 min. total. I had to pay 200 of it. Charged 150 for each shot, x-rays and 60 for this stupid sock. Then I got a bill for 25 from the sock company. All this and the problem is still persists. My fault for not listening to my wife after she had to pay 150 out of pocket for a wart removal. Wife gave birth and was in hospital for 2 days and we only had to pay 600 for that. read more
