Derek, the orthotist is super helpful, kind and explains how the braces work and how they will help you live a more full life. My most recent visit was due to a bad fall I took, unknowingly breaking my ankle. They got me in the same day I called and informed me that I needed a metal plate and screws put into my ankle for stability and healing. I was scheduled for surgery shortly thereafter and Dr. Margiotta is super. He is friendly and open to questions and thoroughly explains everything. The MAs are great and help you move through the process of getting the surgery set up, COVID testing and everything else you need to know before and after surgery. I highly recommend this practice if you are having any issues with your feet or if you might need bracing/splinting or are having other issues.

I arrived at 1319 and was told I had to be rescheduled as my "reporting" time was 1310. I asked if I could fill out the paperwork anyway and if the provider didn't have time to see me it would be done. A middle aged blonde lady angrily told me: "we do our part, you have to do yours". I replied that I didn't come for a lecture, but rather healthcare. I was then told to "get out", that I was very rude. I never raised my voice, nor said anything inflammatory. I asked her name and was again repeatedly told to "get out". I asked to speak with the manager, this was refused and was told very angrily to "get out". I am on Medicare and perhaps this is why I was treated so badly. I have no input as to the quality of care; only the front desk treatment I had to endure. I felt bad for the other staff and for the patients waiting. Needless to say I won't be going back, I can only hope for a more civil atmosphere.

I ended up having complications but they were nothing that could have been predicted nor prevented by the doctor nor the staff. I am an especially hard stick when it comes to my IV lately and am waiting on a port. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Chen, was able to assist with an IV in my wrist. It was painful yet very affective and got the job done! Dr. Saad, the GI specialist performing my EGD, was not very friendly nor did he explain the results. Instead I vaguely remember him giving the info to the nurse to give to me when I woke up so he could leave. I remember waking up and wanting to be like, "It's okay to talk to me. I'm not scary. I'm just a person too." But he still did a great job and I appreciate his work!

However, specific to Peak Motion, I was immediately impressed with how friendly, professional and attentive the front office staff was on the first visit. I was treated with the exact same enthusiasm at each successive visit. Inside the clinic, I was equally impressed with the intake procedure and the cleanliness of the facility. The staff's awareness and implementation of disinfection protocols made me feel safe.
