The cinnamon buns in Sweden are obviously exceptional as they originated from there- crunchy on the outside and warm, melted, soft cinnamon goodness on the inside. The waffles are delicious as well, regardless of which waffle you get. All in all, this is a great place to go to if you're visiting Stockholm!

I'm not sure what Swedish waffles and 1950s diners have in common, but this place makes it work for sure. We came in on a Sunday morning, and were able to get seated right away. My cousin and I both had the raspberry waffle with whipped cream (75 sek, approx $8USD.). The waffle was perfectly crispy and the jam was delicious, but it wasn't a particularly filling for the price, really just a treat. They had fancier offerings as well, for a bit more money, as well as savory combinations. I overheard from a neighboring table that you can order a waffle with both whipped cream and ice cream. Where was this information when I was ordering? Oh well, next time. I would visit Älskade Traditioner again, but perhaps only for dessert. I can't tell if the multitude of American reviews are because 1) Petrus has managed to attract tourists; 2) these particular Americans have taste; 3) Swedish people don't really use Yelp; or 4) some combination thereof. Needless to say, Petrus was recommended by some other friends who had previously visited Stockholm as the go-to for buns. It is well worth the trip. As many have noted, the storefront is small and tucked away off of a fairly high traffic pedestrian thorough fare. Given how many people are obsessed with staring into their phones, surely following google maps to the address won't be tough, but I've learned to lower my expectations of people over time. ANYWAY, I was pleased to stop into a coffee shop that wasn't Espresso House or Fabrique, the latter of which I'm lucky enough to enjoy at home. I was able to grab a seat by the door which gave an interior view (through a window) to their bakery which occupies the other space on the first floor of their building. Despite the baking appearing done for the day at that time, it was neat to see the machinery behind the delectable treats we were having. Coffee was straightforward and lacking in pretension, as you served yourself from the drip coffee thermos in the restaurant. As many have suggested, I'm sure the kanelbulle would have been as tasty as the kardamummabulle and "breakfast bun" (a slightly sweet combo of various nuts and seeds) I had. Everything was quick, pleasant, and tasty, just as a coffee shop / fika place should be; in a quiet, residential area which was relaxing; and a perfect beginning to get the day jump started.

Lots of locals starting their morning here, some working remotely, some just reading, and others catching up with friends. The people who work here are the absolute nicest people. Coffee is delicious. They have fresh squeezed orange juice in the mornings, as well as some green juice and ginger shots which will get you going. There's nothing more satisfying than starting your morning sipping on a latte while nibbling on a cardamom or cinnamon bun. Swedish coffee culture is absolutely elite, and is what I'll miss most now that I'm back in the states. Can't wait to go back to Stockholm and drop by Lilla Caféet på Söder again!

Fresh baked breads were being pulled from the oven and placed on the counter while we stood there deciding what to order. The sandwiches listed on the chalk boards all sounded good and the lady working there was very friendly and happily translated and described the choices in English for us. I ordered a sandwich with avocado, onion, cottage cheese, arugula, and lettuce and since you are given a choice of any bread they have available I chose a pumpkin seed bread. The bread itself was very delicious and fresh as were all the ingredients and this was the perfect healthy lunch. My wife enjoyed her open face sandwich consisting of Serrano ham, arugula, lettuce, cucumber, pickle, and mozzarella cheese. There are a selection of beverages in the display case and I chose a can of flavored sparkling water and my wife had a bottled smoothie. There is also water available for free behind the counter. The atmosphere here was friendly, comforting, and inviting. The food was delicious, fresh, and healthy. If I had spent more time in Stockholm I would have certainly returned to Bulleboden.

We sat down to order and realised we were without cash and they only accept cash, but not to worry the amazingly nice girl behind the counter let us stay and eat and drink and then get money. Wow, can't remember when I've had that level of trust or service in a place. I had the toastie with peanut butter, bacon, onion and cheese - was to die for. Before I even thought to take a pic it was all gone. Even the plain cheese toastie was delicious, using a local cheese that I wish I could pronounce or even spell. If you're not up for a toastie go and have a fika - coffee and a cinnamon scroll - also melt in your mouth tasty. Or just have a coffee and soak up the atmosphere.
