Front desk staff "forgot" to check me in because she was training someone. Had me waiting in the waiting room for an hour! Not to mention how long it took once I went to the back!

They also try to pull this when you need a referral for a specialist. They also treat you like a number and not a person. One visit I had at another location, the nurse practitioner kept calling me by the wrong name and kept insisting that I needed a particularly disgusting and invasive female test. I asked her if she had bothered to look at my patient file, she was indignant that Of Course she had. After I allowed her to dig herself deeper in the hole she had dug herself into, I spoke up and said "IF you actually HAD bothered to look at my patient file you would have seen that you've been calling me by someone else's name AND that I had that body part that you tell me I need tested removed in 2008." Now if something like this and also wanting unnecessary and excessive blood tests every time you go to the office done doesn't make you feel like a total POS, I don't know what does. I went in to get an ear infection checked and was told by the nurses aid that the doctor wouldn't check my ear unless I had this long list of blood tests (including AIDS and Hepatitis!!!!) in their lab first!!!! What does ANY of this have to do with an ear infection? NOTHING!! Plus they had all the records and test results from my prior PCP that were just done!!! Stay away from this place....FAR away!!!!

This office is fine if you're generally healthy and don't have any major health concerns, but if…read moreyou have pressing matters and need timely accurate care, I would not recommend this location. I personally work in customer service, so I have lots of understanding and patience for mistakes and delays that go on on the back end, or may be out of a particular employee's control. However, given that this is a health care office, I do think it's fair to expect generally accurate care. My main reason for this review is the referrals process. The first time I needed referrals, the first one went smoothly. But for the other I was first referred to a doctor that does not see patients my age, then after informing the office they submitted a referral to a doctor that works at the VA hospital and I am not eligible to see them as I am not a veteran. This most recent time around, I needed three referrals, dermatology, psychiatry, and therapy. Dermatology went fine, but rather than getting a psychiatry and therapy referral, I got two psychiatry referrals. I called the first one they sent me, and was informed that this provider is not taking new patients. Additionally, I do think that this office could use some improvements in general quality and accuracy. My first experience with labs here, I was not informed that I would need to fast before my appointment (this may be standard but my doctor knew that this was my first time with blood work) and they put in the order twice and I received a bill for at least a thousand dollars due to 'duplicate services'. I called the office and they eventually got it figured out, but it just contributes to a lack of accuracy and attention to detail that can cause costly delays or have critical consequences to those dealing with serious health conditions. UPDATE: just got a call back from the second psychiatrist they referred me to, who informed me he does not take any insurance at all. I feel like it should also be noted that the dermatology referral likely went smoothly because I can prepared with a list of 4-5 doctors who I had already confirmed to take my insurance and new patients. I did not do this for the psychiatry referral because I had less urgent needs, but I will be doing so going forward so I can receive the care I need.

She was very rude and even hung up on me yet while I talking. I ask for a copy of my records/lab results and was told I can not get them until I first see the doctor-which is a lie her HIPPA(signed into congress) a patience is entitle to there medical records/lab result without seeing a doctor. My medications was not sent to my pharmacy and being a diabetic.. Why should I have to demand my diabetic be sent to my pharmacy.. because of the lack of incompactly I am transferring to another Doctor.
