First, he insisted on an on site visit to give me a quote (the other guy didn't). Second, he got started when he said he would (not exactly common in this industry, unfortunalty), and lastly, he had multiple pulse points throughout the job to make sure he was giving me the product I expected. Oh, and the clean up after the work was done beat what I would do for my own yard projects. Scope of work had three jobs; a basic hedge trimming, removal of a broken tree branch, and a massive pruning of a large hedge on the side of my house. He did all three far quicker than I expected and to a higher quality than I've seen. In the end, I will absolutely recommend him to friends and family. This is illegal since it blocks any drainage. Instead of coming back and fixing the problem that they created, the owner wanted to charge me more money to take care of it. I have videos of them bringing one of the bundles from the front yard with a bobcat to the fence and dumping it over the fence. The tree was nearly 50' and I was very concerned about letting just anyone cut that tree down, I wanted someone insured, very experienced to be sure no one got hurt plus had the right equipment to get it down safely. We also had outdoor structures out there and I didn't want any of those damaged. Once we decided it needed to come down for safety reasons we were lucky enough to be able to fit into their schedule and have now gotten it taken down. I have never seen such careful guys taking care of all our things, making sure to cause the least amount of disruption to our property as possible. Other quotes came in high or not at all, and wanted to take out my fence, ruin my landscaping, and/or drive up and down my yard with a tractor 50 times.
