I started and completed the 22-day Gold Course at Absolutely Animals at the end of 2017 and cannot recommend them highly enough. The practical experience starts on day one under the expert guidance of Heidi and Christine, supported by their excellent staff, Kay in particular is brilliant. I live in Ramsgate, Kent and chose a course that was inconvenient from a travel point of view to benefit from the decades of experience, awards and qualifications of the trainers. Being such an established business means Absolutely Animals have a large and varied client base and you will be faced with all manner of dog breeds and their associated grooming needs. The course is also designed to facilitate you to start your own business. Took Alfie my cavalier king Charles spaniel to Absolutely animals for the first time today. This was after giving the receptionist( I think Nicky ) the 3rd degree when booking him in. She totally reassured me, no question too trivial. So we arrived this morning me really nervous Alfie raring to go. Felt better when I saw all the other dogs arriving thought must be good. I duly picked him up 3 hours later and Alfie was transformed, he arrived muddy, knots in his ears and on his tummy. And he had grinch feet. He looked like a puppy and smelt so much better. Arrived on a Saturday morning without an appointment but Absolutely Animals managed to squeeze some time into the schedule to tidy up our little PomJack dog, Mimi. Heidi the Manager was super helpful and knowledgeable and didn't try and convince me to have lots of expensive and unnecessary stuff done. Everything is very clean and organised and I felt like I'd left Mimi in really good hands. When I went back to collect her she was washed, dried, hair clipped/trimmed (claws too) and looking cute and smart - and never has her wiry fur felt so soft! Well worth the £40. Absolutely fantastic groomers! I have been taking my dog there for years. The prices are the same as everywhere else but the quality of work is outstanding. When i moved house i tried a couple of local groomers and they did not get close to absolutely animals. So i am back here even so i have to drive half an hour. And i love the fact that they do grooming courses which i am considering taking. Lovely people- friendly, professional and my dog looks like a little super star :)) after they finish with her. read more

Absolutely Animals offers an excellent service. All the staff are kind and friendly to the dogs and reassuring to their owners.
