He explains everything so completely, that there is no question what he is recommending; why; what you may need to do; and what the plan of action is for the next few years. Please don't submit your trees to the fly-by-night guys in the pickup full of cutting tools. They will not be any less expensive than Mr. Perdue and certainly will not treat your trees with the care and knowledge that Mr. Perdue will. This is important: recently an older ash tree that he had been babying along for years finally became a victim of too many cold spells and recent high winds. I was prepared for him to just remove it. However, he knew that it couldn't be removed without a permit from the city. Roland was very responsive when called and he spent an hour walking the property with us discussing what cuts were needed and what was healthy. We scheduled the trimming for July and he and his crew of 2-3 guys spent almost 3 days working hard and smart to make our canopies beautiful again. The clean up was excellent.
