Call another agency!! We had a terrible experience. They never fulfilled their yearly agreement. They were all talk. We were given two different consultants and the last one gave us the name of schools that were inappropriate for our child's age. We have tried to contact with no response. We are in dispute and will continue to resolve this problem. RUN!! read more

i have been working with Scott Canter and Academic Answers for 4 years. They have helped my son and my family find the resources that we need to help my son realize a real and productive life. Academic Answers, specifically Scott Canter, was crucial in the success we experienced at an extremely stressful time in our lives. Our 13 year-old son was struggling and our fear was he was heading down a very negative path. Our entire family was being impacted by his disruptive behavior. Scott and Academic Answers saved my daughter's life!! My wonderful daughter was headed down the wrong path and had given up on living life and I had no idea what to do. After a few meetings with Scott, we had a plan and my daughter was on the road to recovery. Scott's expertise is second to none. He recommended programs and once we made final the decision, he personally chose the therapist that was the strongest fit for my daughter's specific treatment plan. He visits the numerous national programs and has a very strong knack for knowing which program and therapist will be the best fit for each individual child. He even visited my daughter at her wilderness program to check in with her. He has worked very closely with me and has been a great support and resource as we progress through her treatment. Our child spiraled out of control on a Friday night last summer! My husband and I had no idea what to do or where to turn. Thankfully, we were referred to Scott Canter and Academic Answers. He drove in from Austin and met us in his Dallas office the next morning (Sunday.) Scott went over our child's history and discussed options. We chose one of the wilderness programs that he recommended (one of several) and our child was there by Tuesday. Scott never failed to consistently check in to see how we were doing in the days that followed. I was surprised when he called to say that he would be flying out to the program to see our son.
