The teachers are amazing, informative and extremely loving and caring. They loved all the kids and treated them as their own. Mrs Anitha, extremely soft spoken yet its commendable how she handles all the kids. My kids still miss her and her school and often want to revisit the school. Their communication is fabulous and are always there to help with any questions you may have. My daughter, who started preschool only after covid times ended, fits perfectly in the kindergarten environment and can read very well( thanks to the amazing way the preschool teachers taught). It has an excellent teaching curriculum and the everyday activities done at the school are totally in line with the MCPS. They'll create great memories participating in Winter/Spring concerts, going to pumpkin farms, swimming pools together. Also I highly recommend the summer program and its weekly themes. I didn't have to think of booking summer camps for them. They were kept busy till evening. Best choice ever!

We love the daily reports! The security protocols provide an effective defense-in-depth strategy that I think adds significant peace of mind. The children are safe, secure and well taught. Discipline is effective and consistent with a focus on positive reinforcement and good decision making. Accidents/incidents are communicated rapidly and the staff are very attentive to the health and well being of our children. The facility is clean and sanitized with the attention of detail that has resulted in the best environment for our children. The food options are excellent and provide a balanced meal to keep our little ones fed and nourished. Issues or concerns that were communicated by myself to the staff were respectfully discussed and addressed in a timely manner. The events and activities that are sponsored by the academy are great team building opportunities for the parents and staff. Additionally, they provide a strong foundational marker for the children to observe the parents being a part of their educational journey. Highly recommended!

We had to look for a preschool during the middle of the pandemic and we knew that we wanted a place…read morethat was going to develop not only our son's academic skills, but his social emotional skills as well. Ms. Hana took COVID safety very seriously and took all the measures to make sure that the learning environment was also a safe place as well which was also a top priority for us. It was going to be his first time in a structured school setting so I really appreciated the smaller class size and student to teacher ratio because I felt like he was able to receive a more individualized curriculum and he was met at his academic level. When my son first started, he had very basic knowledge of his letters and sounds, but now we are almost to the end of our first year and he is reading simple sentences. He comes home excited to tell me what he has learned and about all his friends at school! I am so impressed with how much he has learned and grown thanks to Ms. Hana. Although we will be moving on next year to kindergarten, we are so happy that our son was able to get a good foundation for this upcoming school year!

My daughter has grown so much during her time here into very sweet, talkative, helpful. Ms. Hana plans thoughtful activities for the kids all the time and is a very responsive director. She takes the time to get to know every child very well. I love that this school is smaller which affords the kids more personalized care as well as bring a "family like" feeling between parents, teachers, and children. My most favorite part is, I really enjoy receiving a art works, worksheets, home report and occasional pictures of my child. We have been very happy at MMPS. It is a gem of a school within affluent North Potomac/Rockville with still very reasonable rates relative to other preschool.

Love love love this daycare! It's the best and I recommend it always to all my family and friends…read more The place is wonderful and very welcoming. My son had some bad experiences at another daycare and it made him really scared to go to any daycare. On the first day he tried it out he didn't want to leave and it's been that way ever since. I have been with this daycare for 3 years and I'm very satisfied with my experience. The staff is wonderful, welcoming, understanding and very helpful. The director Danielle is amazing!! She's understanding and anything you have an issue with or anything you need you can talk to her. My son has many favorite teachers but Mrs. Adriana is the BEST! Shes an amazing teacher and care taker. This daycare also works with an app that allows the teachers to tell me how his day is going with pictures and I can see the schedule for the day. When my son was younger and still potty training I got updates when he used the potty as well! I also loved the safety they had. Every room has a camera so the director can see what's going on in each classroom. Both the door to enter the building and the door to go to the hallway to get to the kids have a code on it, double security so not anyone can just get in. You get a lovely tour of the place and on the holidays they do special crafts and parties. They do before school and after school care and pick up kids at school too. They also do class pictures and "school" portraits so you can purchase lovely photos of your child. Again I can not recommend this place enough! If your thinking about it , take the tour because you get all the information you need and you won't regret it.

When I got through the doors the halls reminded me of a health institution for mad people. I did not see colors.... I did not feel a good vibe. The tour was short because honestly they don't have too much to offer. It's sad because they want you to pay $1420/month for a 3/4 year old M-F for that?? I don't think that's worth all that money. It should be cheaper. They only have one room for 3 year olds and a tiny play outside area. Sooooo tiny. The classroom was a bland boring tan color. That center needs some life. It smelled horrible in the classroom I went to. When I got in there? I was ready to leave. The teacher Ms. Jessica? I believe....was a doll. I like her... some other company needs to take her to another place because her personality doesn't fit the building. I may have came on a bad day? I don't know? But they are a no on my list.

High quality teachers who are passionate about their job and truly love the kids. It shows when you see their interactions, their demeanor, the conversations you have with them about your child. I think I cry every time my child has to move up classes because I get so attached to them emotionally. I'm leaving my most valuable possession in their hands which isn't supposed to be an easy thing to do but they make it so easy. My child is very shy, cries a lot, and has a hard time adjusting to new faces or environment. If you also have a child like this then you need to make sure they are in the care of very patient caregivers who have compassion for children. This is the right place for you. Since the pandemic, they have taken great precautions and implemented many protocols to keep it a safe environment. Masks, temperatures at the door, lot of hand washing for the kids, and lots of cleaning in classrooms. Now that parents aren't allowed to enter the building they have also implemented live cameras where parents can log in and watch to have the peace of mind. They also have a wonderful app where things get logged and updated about your child and you can keep in touch with the teachers throughout the day. Lastly, the director at this center is truly unbelievable! Not only is she always on top of everything but she is so kind and understanding when it comes to anything and everything about my child. What more could you ask for? Give her a call and you will know exactly what I'm talking about.

So I am tweaking the curve:) My daughter was a little over 11mos when we began. I always feared sending my DD to daycare because i was afraid she would get sick and that she would not get the love and attention she needs to grow. The folks at Childtime put those fears at rest. I talk to parents at other daycares, and i am grateful for where we are. Admittedly, the initial transition was hard. My DD was previously sheltered by nannies, with zero immune system, and so she did promptly get sick. She did have separation anxiety. This is a common issue with allllll daycares and not at all unique to Childtime. What I love about Childtime is the staff -- I could not feel more comfortable leaving my child with them. They are smiling caring people. I see babies as young as 12 weeks get all the hugs and attention they need. I like that they encourage structure and development -- unlike the parent below, I like that they encouraged concrete nap time and my DD's physical development. They were not rude about it, and gave her a good mix of independence and attention. They were completely fine with me bringing in my own food, limiting what my DD eats, and tracking her progress. They remembered her dietary restrictions when even i forgot them. To each his own I suppose. But if i found Childtime earlier, i would have had no hesitation, hands-down, about bringing my child there over a private nanny anytime.
