Then at 9am was my kids actual appointment (which I would assume they usually make new patience fill out paper work before hand, was too late for that) & the receptionist opened the doors just to let us know that our appointment was canceled & I should have received a call. I let her know that we were never informed. I had no voice message or email or text from them saying this... Their parking lot is very difficult to drive through since it is so small. I seen that it looked like someone hit the building with their car for probably that exact reason. It was covered from the absence of glass. The building needed repairs. They took over a dozen X-rays and imaging because they couldn't get the angles correct and then charged me for all of them. They insisted I needed a deep clean and lied on the examination by saying my gums were worse than they actually were. They said I needed other procedures and My insurance came back and denied these claims as fraud. They gave me proof as to why they were fraudulent. I have never had this happen before. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and they warned me not to go back. I canceled my appointment , but they had talked me into ordering a partial. When It came in I went to pick it up, but they refused to give it to me, saying I need to get a medical release before I get it. The receptionist was so rude and condescending I couldn't believe it. I caught her in several lies before I left out of complete confusion that I was unable to get my property. So in recap, be careful when and if you go here. Watch out for them charging you for things you don't need, keeping you there for hours to force you to make a choice you do not want, bold face lying to you, and then disrespecting you if you stand up for yourself. I went for a exam and was told I need two root canals and one of my broken teeth fix. Ive been in pain for quite some time. They gave me a treatment plan that would cost me over $3800 for these procedures with insurance coverage . There were so available at this time for me to sign and schedule the treatment , they had availability right away for the dentist to do the work. The amount is alot so i checked the charging codes according to my insurance payment schedule and it did not matched. I called them and ask them to please review and double check the codes according to my insurance payment schedule, they did and the next day they told me that the price stands because of im seen a specialist. I then had my insurance contact them and confirm im being charged correctly. My insurance called back and advised me that the new amount for the treatment plan is around $1800 and they should have not charge me more. My insurance advised me that there were dental codes they should not charge me and amounts not matching with what they suppose to charge. Champions then send me the new treatment plan with the correct amount without apologizing for the $2000 difference they were going to over charge me, a blank email with the new treatment plan, how dishonest and unprofessional. Im sure they were piss of they didnt squeeze $200 out of me. Then i called Champions to get the new treatment plan done and the receptionist had to check with someone else , all the sudden she told me they are booked the whole month of July and august ... tell me thats not retaliation and childish?. Im sure that I have been scammed here before in my other treatments where they ask u to sign and schedule right away with out verifying the finances. Ive been a customer for a while , and at least i deserve some respect and consideration when reviewing the finances. The dentist and technicians are nice and great but who ever is in charge of the finances is dishonest, childish and deceptive. I went to another dentist and finally getting my teeth done. The staff is always friendly and professional, and I've found their prices to be very reasonable. Dr. Patel has taken great care of me and both of my children. One thing I really appreciate is that he's always available if something comes up, even after hours, and provides his cell number for emergencies. That kind of personal care really means a lot. Both of my kids are also currently doing Candid corrective aligners, and Dr. Patel has been great throughout the process. He takes the time to explain things and makes sure everything is going well. I went here to get my braces put on and have my wisdom teeth removed, and both experiences were absolutely terrible. The day of my wisdom tooth removal, it felt like the only thing they cared about was how much money they could get out of me. During the extraction, the woman doing it was extremely rude. She kept huffing and puffing while tugging my head from side to side to show her coworkers my tattoos, saying I shouldn't be scared of the process or the pain because I have plenty of tattoos. That was completely unnecessary and extremely unprofessional. If someone is already nervous about having their teeth pulled, your job should be to make them feel comfortable--not make them even more uncomfortable. Every time I have gone there, I have had an appointment, yet somehow I am always waiting three to four hours before I am even seen. Having an appointment clearly means nothing there. Immediately after my extraction, they told me to get up and go to another room for more X-rays, then handed me a bag and basically said, "bye." They did not properly explain how to care for the open wounds in my mouth or give me the instructions I should have received after having teeth removed. That is unacceptable. They are constantly telling you that you need more and more procedures and services, and it honestly feels like they are just trying to get more money out of you for things that are not even necessary. The day I went to get my braces put on, they had me sitting in a chair in the back for hours before anyone even came to explain what was happening. They are extremely unorganized and have no respect for their patients' time. I was also told I was only allowed to choose two colors for my braces. That's fine if that is their policy, but when I am paying this much money, I should at least be given clear information about my options. Then I was told I had a tiny cavity that was nothing serious and didn't need to be fixed. A few minutes later, another worker came up to me trying to charge me for a root canal--something I did not get and did not need. The entire experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and upsetting. The way they treat the people who are literally paying for their services is unacceptable. While I was there for my tooth extraction, there were also two other men complaining and cussing because they had been waiting for hours and were being charged for things they felt they did not need. That should tell you something. I would NOT recommend this dentist to anyone, and especially not for children. If this is how they treat adults who are paying for their services, I would never feel comfortable sending a child there. Tomball parkway location.
