I first started looking into dental care because of a concern with his lip tie. A friend recommended this office after having a good experience bringing his own kids here. When my son was a newborn, I got two different opinions on his lip tie which were from his pediatrician and an ENT. But once his teeth started coming in, I felt it was time to get a third opinion from a pediatric dentist. I really appreciate how spacious and clean the waiting area is. There are plenty of toys and play areas to keep little ones entertained. My son especially loves the playhouse and the train/car table. Once we check in, I usually let him play for a bit before he gets called back. The teeth cleaning process itself is quick and simple. A gentle brush is all it takes at this age. Afterward, he gets to pick a prize (a nice touch to help calm him down), and then the doctor comes in to check his gums and teeth before we're on our way. As a concerned mom, I do sometimes worry about my son being disruptive to other patients. I really wish there was a private room or closed-off area for toddlers, just to help minimize distractions and make the experience a little easier for everyone. More recently, my son had a fall on a stone pavement and chipped his tooth. I called the office right away, and thankfully they were able to fit him in. The doctor performed X-rays and despite all the tears, she gave us clear guidance, a care sheet, and a list of soft foods to help with his recovery. Luckily, there was no serious damage. Taking your baby to the dentist is never easy, and I'm sure it'll get better with time. But overall, I'm really happy with the care and attention my son has received from the staff here.

They had a huge area with foam mats and blocks for kids to climb on and I was able to sit on the floor with him while he played so I could fill out the welcome paperwork. Next came the visit with Dr. Strassner (not sure if I spelt her name correctly) and she was absolutely wonderful! For one, because of my son's age, they don't expect him to be held down on a table so his teeth can be examined, which is what I was expecting, but they had a super kid friendly room with activities all over the wall and the doctor and I sat knee to knee so she could examine him while he was secured in both our laps. She was super thorough and cleaned his teeth in 30 seconds while we all sang him The Wheels on the Bus. She had an attentive, comforting bedside manner and made several excellent recommendations with alternative options depending on my comfort level. My son has a lip tie and she wasn't pushy about removing it because he is unaffected by it. After his (quick and thorough) visit, my son got to pick a toy from a bin and we were on our way. Wonderfully positive experience!

During my…read moresecond appointment, I encountered various issues that left me feeling disrespected and unsafe. Firstly, the office manager displayed rudeness when questioned about redundant paperwork, and my request to avoid fluoride was repeatedly overlooked. Moreover, my daughter's safety was compromised during her cleaning, as she nearly choked on water due to insufficient assistance. When I raised concerns to the dentist, I was met with dismissiveness and disrespect. The dentist refused to acknowledge my presence and even threatened to discontinue services when I attempted to voice my concerns. This behavior, coupled with the dentist's alarming comment regarding the racial composition of their patients, left me deeply troubled. I will not be returning to this establishment and encourage others, especially those from marginalized communities, to seek support from professionals who prioritize respect and safety for all patients. I will be reporting Dr. Pushpa Patel to the State Board of Dental Examiners. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Yes the place is very "kid friendly" looking so I trusted them. When my daughter first went here she was not scared of dentists visits. Through the years every time we would go the dr would find something and give us a treatment plan that insurance would not fully cover. My daughter would always have cavaties and over time she got very afraid to go to the dentist. So then we would have to pay to have her be given laughing gas. The last time we went the dr said she again had cavaties, this time 3 or 4. My husband made a comment to me about how he didn't believe our daughter had cavaties and it just seems like they are trying to shake us down. So while on vacation we took our daughter to a dentist and guess what....they told us she didn't have any cavaties. So when we came back home I found another dentist and surprise they also said she didn't have any cavaties! Reading the other reviews it sounds like a common scam they are running telling parents their kids need all this work when they really don't. Pushing parents to put kids under to charge extra money. After spending a lot of money there feel scammed and would like a refund. Now my kid has silver teeth that she probably didn't need. Do not go to this dentist office if you love your children. All they did was traumatize my kid! And reading all the other similar reviews they are doing unnecessary work to over charge parents.

They have the patience and kindness for our little ones and they take their time to really explain exams, procedures, diagnosis and treatment plans. They are so thorough and pleasant. Plus they are very very reasonable. I have found a gem of a place and I can't recommend them enough!!! We had to have major oral surgery for my little one and everything was top notch! I do appreciate the professionalism of every staff member. There is just a different level of care and class at this practice
