Since I never received the email, I called to confirm the date and time to make sure I didn't miss my appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unfortunately, the experience over the phone was very disappointing. The person who answered seemed impatient, annoyed, and almost as though I was bothering her.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She was very short in her responses, not welcoming, and came across as lacking compassion or a willingness to help. Rather than feeling reassured, I felt uncomfortable and hesitant to ask questions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was very different from the level of kindness, patience, and professionalism I have experienced at other healthcare facilities. Very unprofessional. Lack of care for patients. Surprise billing, they hide behind disclosures which is sad rather than being transparent.

If you want the worst quality doctors and the worst customer service then this is the place for you! This place is the RTD bus station of doctor offices, I do not recommend this place to anyone.. beware, stay away, go to any other doctor's office.. this place is horrendous.. seats smell, seems like they don't clean the place... read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The billing department is rude beyond belief.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Before I had a nerve test done; I asked the billing why they did not take my 2nd insurance as my husband is a disabled Veteran and all physicians I have seen have taken Medicare and Champ VA. Was informed by billing department it was their policy. I understand it is their policy not to take Champ VA, that being said Colorado Springs being a military town with many retired military perhaps Accelerated recovery could or should rethink their policy. read more

I'd leave a '0' if I could. Where do I start...... I go in to the office, and give them my insurance card, and it clearly states what insurance I have. They scan it, and give it back. I go into to see Dr. Shepper, and he seems nice, personable, and very good at his job. My problem is not with him. After I meet with him, it's deemed that there services can help me. I then talk with the front desk office staff before I leave the office, they say that kaiser permanante (KP) takes 7-14 business days for them to respond for an approval request... I say 'great' and I leave the office. Keep in mind I'm in pain basically anytime I use my right arm for anything. So, I don't hear anything for about 7 business days, so I stop by the office, and they say that they haven't heard anything from KP yet, and that it may still be more time. I call back about 12 business days, and they say they haven't heard back from them. I called KP, and they say they JUST received the 'approval' request 1 day ago, so 11 business days in is when they just received it. So, it took Accelerated 10 business days to send in the request to KP. KP Said that it would take them 3-4 business days to reply to the approval request, not 7-14 days. I stop by accelerated, and I asked them why they said KP takes 7-14 days when kaiser said it would take them 3-4. I asked if they meant that Accelerated takes 7-14 business days to send it in, and they said no, they meant that KP takes that long. I then ask them why they took 10 business days to submit the request.....they said that the doctor needed time to look closer at the MRI. I asked them why when I called the office at business day 7 why they told me that they were still waiting on KP to get back to them when they had not yet submitted the approval request to KP. How would KP get back to them if they had yet to send in the request. No answer to that question. No apology either. TODAY, business day 17 I think, I haven't heard back from Accelerated, so I Call KP. They said the procedure was not approved because Accelerated does not work with my insurance program. That was the last straw. I asked KP if the office staff should know right away if they work with my insurance, or if they have to wait until KP looks at it to know if they work with my plan or not. KP said that the office staff should know, literally within minutes of looking at the card, if they work with my insurance plan. SOOOOO.....I spent from October 19th, until today, November 13th, waiting, and I'm back at square one! I'm sure the doctors are fine, but the office staff needs proper training. If you're in a lot of pain, and want relief in a timely manner, don't come here. And, looking at other reviews, I'm not the only one who feels the office staff needs more training. Once or twice might be an anomoly, but if multiple people are compaining about the staff, maybe its time to stop blaming the clients and take a look at the staff. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The office staff can be rude beyond measure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have never heard of self discharging but the office put false information in my notes when I said I might look elsewhere because of the timing of the next available appointment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They told me I self-discharged.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even when I stated that was not true when I tried to call and schedule, they insisted I said I was not coming back[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and gave me multiple reasons I could not return for care which were never explained to me until I tried to make a new appointment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have never seen an office staff so inflexible and focused on losing a patient who is a veteran with insurance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] read more

It was such a great experience all the way through! Starting with Elise (who might be one of the nicest people ever :)) helping me to ensure I saw the right doctor for my prolonged, chronic pain. My consult with Dr Scheper was EXCELLENT! He really took the time to listen to my issues and review my past treatment history with me. He listened to my (MANY) concerns and answered each and every one! I was lucky enough to be able to get in just a few days later for a spinal epidural injection and though it didn't feel the best (no anesthesia, just local numbing), Dr. Scheper and the nurses made me feel comfortable and it was over in a jiffy! They expressed real concern for my well-being, which I greatly appreciate. All of the staff, and even the office decor is super inviting! I'm so grateful that I was referred here and I look forward to working with Elise and Dr. Scheper again after this deployment. read more

You will NEVER find a more caring and compassionate doctor than, Dr. Leggett. He is willing to think "outside the box" and continues to provide hope and new ideas long after other doctors have given up. It has been years since a doctor was willing to spend more than 5 minutes with me, and make me know that it was "okay" to call if something else came up with my health. Not only is Dr Leggett amazing, but the entire staff is positive, caring and the environment created in the office is so welcoming. I was treated with the utmost rudeness and disrespect by office personnel. The uncaring mannerism of the phone receptionists is a laugh when you voice your disdain for having to wait 3 weeks and more for them to put through an insurance authorization for services is completely unprofessional. Not only do they lie to you by saying your insurance is being processed, they get upset when you press them for when it was...only to find out it has not been sent to insurance company yet. I do not recommend new patients and as for the older patients, you are not treated kindly. read more

This is the most unprofessional front office I have EVER dealt with. The doctors are great. However, the front office does not return your calls and blames you for their high turnover rate! It is not my fault that your office does not take messages and then follow through with the client. I was told that I "self-discharged from their care" because I expressed my issues previously. I was REALLY hopeful they had figured out why they have such a high turnover as Donita the Office Manager obviously does not know how to perform her job duties. If she was interested in improving her front office's image, she would LISTEN to client concerns. I manage a busy medical practice myself and I would NEVER talk to someone the way this woman does. Please do your research, look at the other reviews in relation to the front office, and save yourself the headache that I have endured trying to deal with them. I am not even holding my breath that I will be able to get my records from them. read more
