I feel compelled to warn others of this dishonest Dentist and Dental Practice. I have never left a…read morebad review but my experiences with Dental Partners of Bellevue was extremely horrific and I don't want others to get hurt by this Dentist/Dental office. Beginning with my first visit, after having a routine cleaning, the dentist Dr. Rahman addressed my top front discolored tooth and said, "that he could do a crown perfectly to match surrounding teeth". He also mentioned that my insurance was great and that it would cover half the cost. My next appointment Dr. Rahman shaved my tooth and placed an enormous temporary crown in its place. I was mortified but he assured me the permanent would look "perfect". Over the course of three weeks that temporary crown came off three times, I managed to put it in place but the third time, it broke. The crown broke on a Friday; I called the emergency line several times leaving messages with on-call staff but never heard back from Dr. Rahman. So, I had to pay another dentist to repair the crown (Lifetime Dentistry, amazing). When I heard back from the office the following Monday, office staff apologized and said they never received any messages! After 3 weeks Dr Rahman placed the permanent crown... To my horror it is worse than the temporary, massive solid white opaque and going far beyond my gumline. Dr. Rahman apologizes but said it is strong material, I went back a few days later because it was irritating my gums and my bottom teeth continuing to hit it and I was horrified by the appearance. Dr. Rahman adjusts the crown more and tells me its looks fine. Four days later to my dismay, its cracks! I give Dr. Rahman another chance because I had already invested money and was holding out hope that this was all just a fluke (think I was in shock). Dr. Rahman says he can do better but it's going to be $100 more so (I've already paid for one crown at this point) So I pay for another disaster. Same thing happens, he gives me a temporary, it looks a little better but after two days it comes off while at a work lunch. I call, office staff says to get some over the counter Fixodent and come in in the morning. I go in the next morning Dr. Rahman glues it back on, 3 days latter it comes off again! I call the office; Chasity Dr. Rahman assistant tells me he doesn't have time to fix it and doesn't consider front tooth crown coming off an emergency and she adds that, "at least I can wear a mask". So, I go to a different dental office for the second time (Bellevue Smiles this time, also amazing). Both Dentist I saw did a wonderful job putting the oversized crown back on and never had a problem with it coming off, this just speaks to Dr. Rahman incompetence. Please by cautious with this over promising, unprofessional and dishonest about his ability "Dentist". Dr. Rahman cares only about money and using patients like lab rats. He does not care about the patients or correcting mistakes. If there was ever a question, issue, or concern, the office staff was not helpful! Rather than admit culpability for a problem, they never acknowledged or apologized. This has been an extremely hurtful experience! Also, there was zero explanation that the insurance may not cover procedure (didn't cover any of it). I was severely taken advantage of by Dr. Rahman and staff. They care about money and doing the absolute bare minimum to care for the patient. They do not care about quality or taking any accountability. This has been the worst dental and doctor office experience I've ever had, and it wasted my time and money. The good news, I am ecstatic and relieved to have found a cosmetic dentist to fix my front tooth crown (Dr. Nabors). Even the temporary that was made by Dr. Nabors looks 100% better than the two permanent crowns Dr. Roman tried to pass off. So sad the lies, deceit, and shameful actions of this Practice. I absolutely discourage anyone from ever being taking advantage of their vulnerable dental concerns or their time and money by considering the Dental Partners of Bellevue!

The office is set up to maximize profit. You can get botox, they push "special herbal" expensive mouth wash and the list goes on. He is only interested in taking as much money from you in my opinion. I never had to do all the work he suggested 3 years later. After working in the dental field many decades ago, take this as a warning. He is only interested in money and not care. In my opinion, It's fleecing of the flock.

But today I must write yet another review for Dr. DeLoach, Wendy, and their Team at the Center for Dental Excellence, because they are still the best experience I have had in any dental office, hands-down! I had an appointment with them today, and again, it stood out how professional, thoughtful, and friendly everyone is in their office, and I mean Everyone. The minute you walk in the door, you can't miss the genuine kindness, and professionalism that is present... The care I received today was, once again, exceptional... It is so clear that Dr. DeLoach really loves what he does... But I must also mention the dental assistant I had today; her name was Cheyenne, and she worked so flawlessly alongside Dr. DeLoach, I swear she reads his mind.... The teamwork between them was flawless, it is clear that she has been working with him for many years... Thank you to the Center for Dental Excellence, you are all Awesome...!!

On behalf of my wife's personal experience:…read more For those that like the cliff notes: All in all they have dishonest billing practices, incompetent staff, and you're not even receiving the proper standard of care. For those that like story time: At my first visit I was told I had mild periodontal disease. Their dental hygienists use a system where they call out loud to a dictation/ documentation system on a scale of 1-5 for grading gum disease. 5 being the worst. 4 puts you into the zone of being classified with periodontal disease. 1-3 keeps you above that diagnosis. None of my numbers were worse than a 4 but I did have some. I was told I needed to have an additional treatment involving scaling, planing and a CHG rinse. This was 90 dollars. They made sure I paid first then brought me back to a separate room with a different dental hygienist to perform this procedure that took them 15 minutes. I was scheduled for a 6 month visit. I called before my 6 month visit and asked what I would have to pay. I was told 5.60. When I got to the office that's what I paid up front. They brought me back for my cleaning. My numbers had all improved and there was nothing called out to the dictation system that was below a 3. I got a standard cleaning. No deep scaling, no planing, no CHG rinse nothing different than a regular cleaning. I received a bill a month later claiming I owed 56.80. I called my insurance company to ask about my bill. They said standard cleaning is covered. I was billed for periodontal maintenance and cleaning. I called aspen dental to ask why my insurance company was billed that way since I did not receive anything other than a standard cleaning. On top of that why was this not the amount I was told upfront when I called asking what I would pay. The office manager said the 5.60 was an estimate and apparently my insurance company didn't cover what they expected. Also, since i was classified the first time as having periodontal disease I would always be billed this way. Meaning I will always be billed with a higher copay no matter what. She also mentioned that the first time I was there I had been graded a 5 on several areas and this second time I was graded a 4 so there was improvement. As I said above, this is not true. These numbers are called out over you. I can hear what they are dictating so it's fishy to me that what they seem to have documented is not matching the reality that was called out over me. It's also interesting that they billed my insurance company for a service I did not receive. I also really enjoyed the surprise bill for a service I did not receive. Additionally, I did speak with the office manager and explain that they are billing me for a procedure they did not preform. she was uncomprehending and attempting to gaslight me saying that they did perform periodontal maintenance. (As I have explained above proper periodontal maintenance involves deep scaling , root planing, antibiotic application- none of which was done at my visit). I told her she needed to bill my insurance company for the service actually performed which was a prophylactic cleaning. Obviously she was unwilling to correct the issue and engage in an ethical practice of billing patients properly for the procedure actually performed. They either have incompetent staff or they have dishonest billing practices. But I think they actually have both problems. Also, with periodontal disease the apparent standard of care is cleanings every 3-4 months with deep scaling, root planing, and CHG application. So I'm also not receiving the proper care that I should be receiving according to best practices. As I read other reviews for aspen dental as a whole my problem is not isolated. I see others repeating accounts similar to my situation and some even with the exact same story as me.
